Visiting The Beachcomber is what California is all about.Great views and excellent food. David our waiter was very attentive and did a wonderful job. The food was cooked to perfection! If your looking for a true California experience this is where you want to go.

Great visit to the Beachcomber. The bus ride is fun ($1) and the food is good (not excellent). Downsides are the long lines (even if you have a reservation) and the cost. The location, however, is amazing!

You would think that a beachside restaurant could get by with standard fare because of the fantastic views and cocktails; however, the Beachcomber has a creative menu with delicious entrees. The breakfast varies from eggs Benedict to a beef hash and some Mexican dishes, too....More

The more jaundiced of us might expect a beach bar between Newport and Laguna to excel mostly at "view" rather than food and drinks. In fact though, this place rocks! We've been a couple times after taking the nice stroll up the beach from the...More
