They brew and sell their craft beers, which are good. The food is better than average for a place of this sort. There are many tvs tuned to sports venues. Service is always very good. If this is what you want, you will definitely enjoy your visit.

BJ's was right across the street from out hotel. TV's all around, with a different game on each one. The food was very good and the wait was not very long.

In search of some place where to have dinner we got here. We didnt expect too much from this place. However after some wings, mozzarella sticks and the main dishes we were amazed. Great place.

First off, Wendie was an excellent waitress! The food was good but not great. However, the monkey bread pizookie was fabulous. It's smaller than most BJ's and doesn't have the full menu. There are too many other restaurants to try in the area and this meal wasn't memorable enough to bring me back.

Stopped in for lunch while at the beach. This is a smaller than most BJ's. Seating is on two levels. Service was good considering the restaurant was full. I ordered the single size all meat pizza. It is advertised as a four slice Pizza. When it arrived I discovered it was a very thick crusted pan pizza with six slices.... More

On our visit to Balboa Beach we had planned on eating lunch at BJ's first. Looking over the menu, it was very difficult to decide what to choose because everything was so high in calories, and a tad on the pricey side. But I ordered the Caprese Piadinas with fries and iced tea,,, daughter ordered Honey Crisp Chicken Salad and... More

Stopped in after out annual surf city running race for deep dish pizza. Classic combo pizza was great, not greasy or heavy. Their beers are great too and never a let down. The southwest rolls are great appetizers. Like this location on main Street next to the pier.

This was our first visit to a BJ's restaurant. There were many things we like about it and a few we were left short. The menu has great options. The food was just delicious. The pizza... I'm home in Australia and I still think about it. The thick pizza base is just addictive. My negatives is that the pizza was... More
