The menu is large. I wanted to order about 6 different items but they only had 3 in stock. Rice, beans and guacamole. I wanted rumchata or even horchata. They didn't have any. I wanted churros or funnel cakes, they didnt have any. I wanted empandas, they didnt have any. Guy at the front desk said I was "making things... More

Apparently, this little gem was a former Taco Bell and it was replaced with authentic and delicious Mexican food. The staff is quite friendly and they even have Mariachis on the weekends (along with the Menudo to go with a nice cold cervesa). Carnitas are awesome and Chile Relleno is to die for!!! Ask about Shrimp wrapped in Bacon...OMG!!!

Tongue is tasty and so very tender and even more delicious on the thick hand made soft tortillas. Chile relleno was excelent too. Visa card accepted. Ample parking. Take Borchard exit off 101.

On my first visit, yesterday, I had the Steak Burrito and the Chile Relleno. Burrito was average - steak cubes a little over done. BUT the Relleno was the best I have ever eaten. Hence my second visit today. Again, the best - hot to the last bite and a really good sized entrée. Down side was the loud volume... More

We ended up here for a quick meal post Trick or Treating on Halloween night. Not quite FAST food, but way better! My kids loved it.

This location used to be a mexican fast food chain location (name withheld, you know which one it was). Now it is home to one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants in which I have had the please of eating. This is not your high-end fancy normal fair places. It has more of that simple elegance of a mom and... More

Yes, El Sancho Loco is in a former Taco Bell, no liquor, and it sometimes it takes a while for your order to arrive. But, made to order takes time, and great food is worth waiting for. The Chile Rellenos are incredible, the Enbchiladas (especially with chicken) are great, and the Cobb Salad (be sure to ask to add chicken... More

I had a carne verde combo plate with a small drink. The food was great but it was almost $15 for lunch, Huh??? This much for a hole in the wall place. The salsa was watered down and the place was a little messy.

Located in an old Taco Bell, ambiance isn't really all that, but the food and service are terrific. My faves are the carne asada California burrito (huge!) and the pastor tacos with pineapple. Food is consistent and delicious!

Let Me start this review by saying, I no longer reside within Minutes of ESL. I now live out of state in a small town named Pahrump Nevada. They say they have Mexican Food, But Their ability to cook Proper Mexican Food is about as good as my attempting to make Ethiopian Brunch Food. After driving over 300 miles and... More
