If you have seen the film it is great fun to step into the real café, if not, you get a decent meal here and probably anice chat, too. We really enjoyed our short stop!

Clearly, this is a popular place. The only "improvements" I can discern are the many many visitors' flags, t-shirts, towels, and rags signed and stapled to the ceiling and walls. There isn't more than a few specs of original paint visible - there's that much...More

When you travel on Route 66 / Hwy 40, you MUST stop at the Bagdad Cafe in Newberry Springs. I am having to re-watch the movie again and I am so excited to get the picture of the sign and restaurant. Andrea, the owner, was...More

We popped in to The Bagdad Cafe more because it's history than for a gourmet dining experience. We weren't disappointed. It's a tourist attraction rather than a cafe so give it a go. Lovely owners who would rather chat than cook & that is just...More

Old School Nostalgia and memorabilia from hats to bats, posters to t-shirts, money bills and graffiti.... The place is good for a photo stop and a quick beer. Lunch is absolutely basic but staff was very friendly and super fast.
