While on a business trip I arrived late to my hotel and missed dinner, so I searched for open restaurants. Across the street from my hotel was lavender hot pot, and I noticed that it closed very late, so I decided to go there. I...had never had hot pot before, but I knew that it was all you can eat, so I decided to give it a try. When I first walked in I was greeted and taken to a table for one. A menu was handed to me, but it was all in Chinese, so I had no clue what I was reading. I tried explaining to the waitress that I had never had hot Bob before and did not know what to do, but she didn’t speak English, so she took the menu from me and brought me some soup that she poured into a pot and placed on a small tabletop grill. She then pointed out the plates next to the buffet line and gestured for me to go. So I got up and went to the buffet line, but quickly noticed that everything was Robb. So I assumed it was similar to a fondue restaurant and filled my plate with different items. Unfortunately, when I placed the items in the pot it started to overflow and made a huge mess on the table. The waitress ran over turn to down the heat and scooped out some of the soup. However, I had no clue how long to cook the items and several of them were fish, so I had to look online for YouTube videos to explain what I was doing. If it wasn’t for those videos I would have missed out on a lot and probably would have gotten sick. I guess you can say that it was partially my fault for going to a restaurant that I had never been to before, eating a food that I had never tried, but it would have been nice if there was someone there that spoke English who could have explained even the basics to me.More

I was introduced by my friend to this restaurant and I like it. Not only for the all you can eat good foods but also the nice interior decorations. For around $30, you can enjoy a nice dinner here. After dinner, if you like singing,...you can stay for the karaoke.More

Six of us made reservation for lunch and it was a pleasant experience. The price is very good for lunch. For about $15 you get a personal hotpot (or shared ones on a larger table), choice of meat, and unlimited other items. The interior is...pleasant. For lunch, we were not rushed and took about two hours at our leisure. It is good for gathering with family or friends.More

The restaurant was a former Chevy's needs a little more updating to really create a Thai atmosphere especially the out door area but the food and service was great.

New hot pot place in the area so we decided to try it out. For dinner, they charged close to $29, which was a little higher than we expected for a AYCE place. With the exception of the meat items (beef, lamb, and chicken), everything...else was buffet style. They didn't offer any pork items at this place. They did offer seafood items such as shrimp on a stick, scallops, fish filet, fish balls, octopus, clams and mussels but where were the crab legs? Okay, maybe they don't need to offer crab legs because the price would have been higher. Nothing really stood out except for the Haagen-Dazs ice cream. What we found unusual was that when we needed a refill of the soup base, all they did was add hot water to it instead of adding more of the original soup base, which we had ordered two of them at the start of dinner. Not good. If we come back, it may be for lunch, which is about half the price but it is only available during the weekdays.More
