Found Black Bear Diner while driving through Napa into wine country. Stopped for breakfast. Rebecca was our server and she was fantastic. Had a suggestion ready to go when asked instead of meandering around. Kept the coffee full . The food was outstanding. We had the ScramBOWL and the Cinnamon Roll French Toast, both were fantastic with huge portions.

If you want a Cabin feeling, old fashion American breakfast with everything on it, this is the place! They also serve lunch and dinner items on the menu. Our family enjoyed it so much we plan to go back again tomorrow! Excellent staff and service.

An ordinary restaurant with good food. The service was quick, fiendly and well. Plenty of parking spaces.

My husband and I ate here on our last day in Napa. The service was great, and the food portions were enormous and very good. Although neither of us could finish our meals due to the size, the pancakes and the country breakfast were both delicious.

First time in Napa, and looking for someplace to eat when we remember seeing Billboards on the road advertising Black Bear Diner. After checking Tripadvisor and reading the reviews, it was a "no brainer" that we should try it out. We are not sorry we did. We were warmly greeted and after a 5 minute wait we were seated. Our... We had breakfast at the Black Bear Diner on Soscol Avenue in Napa California. The location is great and there is plenty of off street parking. The decor is very rustic and charming with a bear theme. The menu resembles an old newspaper and has some great offerings. I went for the chorizo scrambled eggs with hash browns and English... More

All the classics you expect from a diner. Food and portions are average. Service is good. Atmosphere is relaxed, family. Great place to eat and visit with friends. There is something for everyone and they'll let you sit and chat awhile without rushing you.

I don't go to Black Bear Diner often, but when I do the food is always consistently good. My wife and I were out on a mid-morning weekday, and on a whim decided to stop in for a late breakfast. The food was good, the portions huge, and the servers are always smiling. Even though Black Bear Diner is a... More

Late lunch so this was a quick stop in. We were served by Amy; very nice young lady who had great recommendations from their very expansive menu. The menu is in the form of a daily paper-ours was dated 1957 and had headlines from that date in history! Too cute Very clean and cute inside. We decided upon the Open... More

Chain restaurant. Good ole American breakfast fare. What you would expect from a well operated chain restaurant.
