Their ability to handle a rush on a rainy Saturday night was amazing... Moved people through, Good manager overseeing an excellent staff. Food came promptlY, and was so well presented, both our neighbouring tables orders the same meal. Try the meatloaf. In Napa three nights, this was our best overall dinner.

We both had a burger and it was delicious! We shared fries as there were enough for two. The atmosphere was great with TVs if you wanted to catch up on the latest sporting event. There was a small patio for outside eating if desired. The food came quickly and the service was friendly.

Great choice of beers and good to be able to see the food being freshly prepared in the open plan kitchen. Being good, it is popular, so be prepared to wait.

My girlfriends and I ate here on our first night in Napa, and we all enjoyed the steak! It was cooked perfectly and came with fries, but they were willing to substitute. The broccoli rabe was more bitter than I'm used to , but that's a small thing. I'd visit again. They had a lovely sounding pear crisp, but I... More

Stopped in for Lunch after some wine tastings. We wanted to find something with a great relaxed vibe with great eats. This is the place!!! We ordered burgers that were perfect! But every time a server walked out with food my wife and I both couldn't stop but stare! Everything looked fantastic. Great place!

I recently stopped in for lunch...it was my first time and I will definitely be back! Very friendly staff and the food was delicious. I asked the bartender what she would recommend and she had a few suggestions. I went with the lamb burger w/garlic sautéed spinach and goat cheese. It did not disappoint!!

We came in and had lunch with our 2 little girls on a family vacation. The lady that sat us and our waitress were so friendly and sweet to our girls. The food was super good! We will come back for sure!

I took my husband on a trip to the Napa area last week. He had been tasting wines at a downtown location on Wednesday and we decided that we would give Norman Rose a try. What had appealed to him, as we were searching menus on Trip Advisor, was the lamb burger with garlic spinach and feta cheese. Our only... More

Located in the heart of downtown Napa's West End District, the Norman Rose Tavern is that comfortable spot where you can meet family and friends for a nice cocktail, pint or glass of wine paired with a great burger and fries or other classic, American comfort food. The menu takes a local, sustainable approach to time-honored dishes like fish & chips, fried chicken, chop salad, mac and cheese, and much more, all prepared utilizing the fresh, seasonal and quality ingredients found in the North Bay. The design offers a rustic pub feel with modern touches created by Kimberly Nunn and Dan Worden of Shopworks in Napa. The thoughtful beverage list sports a collection of cocktails, wines and beers that soar two or three levels above most, with many outstanding and well priced Napa Valley wines. The by-the-glass list is impressive as well with over twenty wines by the glass. An extensive spirits list featuring classic cocktails round out the offerings.
