We like the Firewood because we can have fish tacos, which are rear in these parts, and almost anything else you can imgaine. You order at the counter and pickup a short time later. We just like the place.

We were on a road trip and arrived in Murphys - a quaint town - pity it was raining! However had a quick walk down the Main Street looking for somewhere to have lunch. We had a look n the local hotel which seemed a little dingy and went into an Irish bar. We were a party of four including... More

Great fish tacos, burgers and pizza! A well known local favorite. Casual but very good. Highly recommend and get extra napkins for the burger!

If you are in for a great tasting pizza from a wood fire oven, burger, or fish tacos without much entourage this is a place for you! Salads and quesadillas, French fryes and nachos. They have them all. Along with a nice choice of wines and beers.

We enjoyed lunch at Firewood. We had burgers and pizza and everything was good. You order your meal at the counter and your food is brought to you. They actually have a large menu including pizza and Mexican food. The server who brought our food was having an off day (with busing tables) but otherwise no issues. It was good... More

We always compare pizza to our favorite place in Colorado...this one actually came close because of the very soft, fresh crust! The restaurant takes no reservations and you order at the counter, so we were a little stressed with kids, because it was crowded. But we watched for a table while part of our party stood in line to order... More

This place is tucked between the bookstore and a high end clothing store. Designed like an old garage, there's up and downstairs tables. Order at the counter, food delivered to the table. Modest and yummy salsa bar, beer, wine. Wood fired pizzas are creative and delicious. Taco meals with rice, whole beans, choice of 2 chicken, pork or fish "street... More

This is a great little place for lunch! The pizza is delicious. Prices are very reasonable! We also ordered a chicken quesadilla and a steak quesadilla and both were excellent! The place is small so tables may be hard to come by. We stopped in during a busy rush and were able to find a table upstairs, but there wasn't... More
