The seafood could not be fresher. The preparations are simple, which allows the seafood itself to shine. The atmosphere is basic. Everything here is simply about the seafood. The prices are extremely reasonable. The service is excellent.

We have a vacation home less than a mile away, so we always buy our fish at Sea Harvest. The market always have a wonderful selection of sushi grade ahi and other choices as well. Counter is always helpful, knowledgeable and has the freshest fish.

Sea Harvest is a small, hidden gem. Now that I have discovered it, I want it to remain a hidden gem. Fortunately, it takes a little bit of effort to find the restaurant and the parking lot is only large enough to accommodate the restaurant...More

The week my husband proposed to me 9 years ago, we ate here in a visit to Monterey. We wanted a place that was fresh and quaint and not overpriced. This place is all of that. The cod is very good. We always say, if...More

Casual spot, PHENOMINAL seafood. You can eat-in or purchase fish at the counter. It doesn't try to be something it isn't. However, there's nothing better than seeing super fresh fish behind a counter and knowing that's exacctlywhat they're cooking for you! We'll be back.

There is no better place for fresh fish than a fish market, and that is exactly what Sea Harvest is. Don't expect fancy tablecloths and finishes, but know the fish is fresh and cooked to perfection. If you find yourself with a long wait, grab...More

Dined for Dinner on 9/21/2018 (Friday): Sea Harvest is located a short walk north from Cannery Row and is both a fish market and a restaurant. The dining area is not that large so there was a small wait before we got seated. We ordered...More

Sea Harvest Fish Market is an actual fish market. It just happens to have a restaurant inside. It’s a decent little spot but don’t come expecting views of the bay or even a bathroom. Couldn’t find one. However you know you’re close to the water...More

Contrary to most reviews, I did not have a good dining experience here. The oysters were bland and tasteless (almost as if they were washed, except that there was still shell debris within), as with the crab meat salad. Ahi tuna and clam chowder were...More

Pardon my review. Our travel took us from San Francisco to Monterey, and when I saw Dungeness crab, I immediately thought of Crab House in San Francisco. Dungeness was in season in July, but don't know if it will be for your... More

Take out is popular, since the inside seating is rather limited. Enjoy.
