Everything you could want for breakfast from the healthy to the all American breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

This restaurant is a big breakfast spot in downtown Mariposa, and was very crowded on the Thanksgiving week end of our visit. Only after we were seated, enjoying our hot drinks, did we hear that there was only one cook in the kitchen, so we would be waiting some more. We had waited 20 minutes in line for a table... More

We visited for late breakfast on the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend. It was busy as was hotel checkout time. We elected to sit at the counter as there were seats available. It was fun to watch the cook and see the dynamics of a busy breakfast shift. It was quite a wait for our food but that was OK as... More

Stopped in for breakfast before heading to Yosemite. Classic diner fair including excellent hash browns, crispy on the outside and moist inside. The eggs were cooked to perfection. Not a huge menu, but we weren't looking for extravagance either.

I'm a fried egg and bacon kind of girl because it's a hard meal to screw up. That being said, we were seated at a booth behind the cook, so I had some time to sit and watch him work. (That's one of the reasons I like open diners. You can see how much care and how efficient someone is... More

Got a recommendation for this cafe at the visitor center. Good tip. Friendly, fast service. Stopped on our way to Yosemite for a quick lunch. We had the Tuna melt and Club Sandwich. Their fryer was acting up so did not have the fries, instead had the split pea soup, which was excellent. If you are looking for a place... More

We waited nearly 30 minutes for a table. It's a tiny cafe, so we understood the wait. However, it would have been better service if someone greeted us and directed us to sign in for a table. We're from out of town and didn't know about this until a waitress yelled out "JOHN!" or some other guy's name. They need... More

My husband and I ate here on Sunday for the first time. Staff - pleasant but not attentive. We had to regularly ask for coffee and water refills (and silverware at the beginning!) She did get things to us when we did ask. There was a wait (no problem) - BUT . . .after our name was taken, people who... More

we were looking forward to a good breakfast in this cute Californian gold rush town...well it was anything but. We waited half an hour for the blandest awful omelettes which were served with equally awful unseasoned hash browns and a pityful slice of orange... The omelettes were thin, unseasoned and most likely made with liquid eggs, not fresh eggs. Mine had... More
