New Korea offers traditional Korean dishes heavy on items like pigs feet, which just doesn't appeal to me. They did have the "cook at the table" BBQ option but we didn't go that route. We enjoyed the bulgogi which was served with lots of small dishes like sprouts, pickled seaweed, fish cake, kimchi and broccoli. We found the cellphone noodles... More

A simple restaurant with great Korean food. I am especially fond of the spicy pork, which comes with a selection of Korean side dishes. With a hot sake, it is just the thing for a winter meal. Price wise, the food is a good value and you will not leave hungry.

Honest owner who is not trying to sell dishes just to make a profit. They recommend us to gauge the portion of the dishes and add accordingly, which I appreciated it very much. We have left over even with their recommendation. Perhaps we ordered too much in the first place.

We were in Marina for a long weekend and I found this place after googing "Korean bbq in marina, California." The yelp reviews looked promising so we decided to check it out. When we were driving we became a bit skeptical and almost decided to find somewhere else to eat as it is located in a residential area that looks... More

A nice Korean woman runs this place so it it legitimate Korean food. I love the hot pots and the kimchi is great. It's good and spicy. I really liked the seaweed she has. After a brief trip to Seoul this place helped cure my need for Korean food. I haven't tried any other dishes but I'm sure I'll be... More

Everytime I visit family in the Monterey Bay area, I eat here. I've tried many dishes and have never been disappointed. The kimchi is fresh and I believe made by the owner. My favorites are the kimchi pancakes and kimchi soup. You can ask for the soup to be extra spicy if you want. This is a family owned restaurant.... More

I splurged and had the Galbi (beef short ribs). The meat was plentiful and so tender you could just take a bite off the portion without a knife. Which was just as well, since all I had were my chopsticks. The meal started with a bowl of miso soup. The entree was accompanied by 8 banchan dishes and a bowl... More

We just discovered this little Korean restaurant. Good parking, cozy dining room (seats 36), great service, fair prices, wonderfully delicious Korean food! Definitely coming back!! Restrooms are outside the restaurant, around the corner, but decent enough. Water heater in the women's bathroom keeps the room warm too. The side dishes are tasty and the server keeps 'em coming. The appetizers... More

As other reviewers have noted, the food is good and plentiful. The staff are very friendly, polite, and eager to please. There are some familiar dishes, such as marinated barbecue pork (which I got and liked) and numerous traditional Korean foods, such as ones made with pig's feet. The price seemed low for the quantity and quality. The main course... More
