The worst cappuccino I've had on the peninsula. Cappuccinos were made quickly but absolutely no foam - mostly milk & missing that strong second shot. First impressions are not good. 15 minute wait in line just to order Cappuccinos were made quickly but absolutely no foam - mostly milk & missing that strong second shot. After ordering, we waited 30... More

Really loved this cafe and the warm welcome from Horace and the other staff and called on 3 days of our trip. Had some great porridge and coffee to help carb load for the Big Sur marathon and recover afterwards.

I frequented Café Mia for years on my daily commute from Salinas to Santa Cruz. Horace, the owner and his staff provide friendly and outgoing service. Any time I return to the Monterey area I make an effort to dine at Café Mia. Most importantly the food quality is outstanding and consistent; that combined with the staff knowing your name... More

Every town seems to have that great local coffee shop, and this is it in Marina! I had a mocha frappe, it was one of the best! They also serve some delicious looking breakfast burritos and sandwiches, plus an assortment of goodies. It's a small place and was packed, service was fast and friendly.

This little gem has great coffee. The only problem is the wait, if you are there during their peak times. Service can be slow, but it is a friendly establishment. Just be patient I have also had their breakfast burritos, which are big. The only suggestion I would have for the burritos is to saute the veggies first, as the... More

It is a great place to stop in, have a great cup of coffee and chat with the locals. The staff is very attentive and very friendly. Breakfast is very tasty, and there are plenty of choices. Everything is made fresh to order. If you cannot wait, there is a great selection of pastries, fresh fruit, and the coffee aroma... More

The coffee is good and the owner is enthusiastic but they are over-priced. If I wanted to pay a lot for coffee I know where Starbucks is ya know?

On a recent visit to Marina, CA, visited this place for breakfast. The guy who runs this place is a friendly guy. My food was okay but service could have been better. My to-go order of six items was all individual items and very difficult to carry. No bags were offered for purchase or any assistance offered. Had to come... More

This is the third time we've been here. The owner Horace is very friendly and makes sure you leave the place full and satisfied. We ordered godfather sandwich, turkey club sandwich (with addition of sprouts and pickles), and caramel latte with extra shot of espresso. All that was delicious, and we left contemplating whether or not we should order more... More
