Dukes has been Malibu standby for years but just having had lunch with our Texas relatives it continues to deliver excellent food at fair prices at an ocean front location. We arrived early (11:35) and were able to sit outside in barefoot bar area. Enjoyed...More

Come early on a Sunday. We arrived before the place opened and glad we did. Valet parking is $6. Parking on the street is limited. The brunch is $29. We ate off the menu for half the price.

It's hard to find a restaurant along the coast that's easy to enter & exit *AND* that's worth the stop. Dukes is a place that's worth it (even with $5/vehicle valet charge). We had a nice lunch in the bar and were able to enjoy...More

Request a window seat if you make a reservation! Got to see some seals surfing while eating! Food was very good and service was good, as well. Nachos for an appetizer and burgers for our meal was our lunch choices!

We had one if our best meals of the weekend at Duke's! Seared ahi was tasty. Two different types of fish preparations and both were excellent. Fish chowder was a great starter as well. Simply no room for desserts.

Very nice food. Nice view. However it's Too long for a wait. There is a line even for the toilet. Ridiculous... although we had a reservation, things didn't move on time. Not only we couldn't get a table next to the ocean, we waited 1.5...More

Food was very good! Waitress was knowledgeable about wines while bartender was clueless. Service at both not too attentive. Still, this place has a great vacation, relaxed vibe. Perfect for me.

My family and I had lunch at Dukes during a recent trip to Los Angeles. What a wonderful experience! It was Saturday, so it was very crowded. And yet the staff, everyone from the valet to the bartenders and wait staff, was extremely attentive and...More

Great food with an amazing view, from every single table you can see the ocean especially window tables and outside, I went with 7 others and everyone loved it!

The Malibu coastline is like a chameleon. In some
areas it resembles the French Riviera with its lush,
green hillsides descending into crescent-shaped
shorelines. In others, it feels 100% Southern
Californian with beaches wide and flat as a football
field, and often crowded with beach-goers lounging on
towels and playing volleyball. Other coastlines still
feel secluded, tucked under tall cliffs and dotted

Ok for kids. Sat night two weeks out to get your preferred time. Request a window table. Not guaranteed and may have to wait. If want to see sunset, look up time of sunset and book 45 min earlier.

They have a veggie burger that I was told is vegan. The buns had milk, so I had it without, but the waiter said that sometimes they do have vegan buns. The waiter was helpful and went back and forth to the kitchen to ask... More

Duke's Malibu has brought the excitement of Hawaii, Waikiki, and surfing to the mainland. The spectacular oceanfront location on Pacific Coast Highway offers over 300 feet of romantic oceanfront dining and memorabilia from both Hawaii and California surfing history. The Barefoot Bar, looking south into the lights of Santa Monica, is a great spot for drinks and casual food with friends.
