I have never left Post & Beam disappointed. From the time we arrived, we were welcomed by the owner, Brad, and made to feel special. We never felt rushed throughout the dinner although we stayed quite a while. The whole time the energy and buzz...More

Highly recommend, will go back for dinner next time we are in the area. We were trying to get close to the Forum for a meal prior to a concert. We weren't able to stay for dinner but we really enjoyed the bar food and...More

The food at Post & Beam is terrific, but man, the service is really slow. It took 45 minutes for the first course to arrive, and there was no bread or anything to munch on. The noise level inside is really high, but we sat...More

I could go on and on about how excellent the food is, but it is the atmosphere, clientele, and service that makes this restaurant so unique and special. As someone who travels all over the country, this is a true gem. The skylights above, the...More

If the weather permits, request to be seated on the patio. There's a beautiful herb garden adjacent to the seated area, and it was refreshing to see the chefs walk out there to pick herbs for the meals. Bottomless mimosas are delicious and have the...More

Very good brunch and the chef is very nice and came out to meet us. Unlimited mimosas for $16. No substitutions is the only bad thing , being that I'm a picky eater I did find something .

The Ginger Mojito was great and the service was very good! The black-eye peas were acceptable. It's a great neighborhood hangout, but a bit over-priced.

A coworker recommended this place for light appetizers and drinks and I loved it. We ordered and the food was AMAZING. I highly recommend the brussels sprouts, the macaroni and cheese and grits. They have a good beer selection, a full bar and decent wine...More

Went here to see a show at the forum and was looking for someplace close by. What a find. We had the deviled eggs for an appetizer, I had the shrimp and grits with scrambled eggs, and my wife and a friend had the poached...More

Had cocktails and dinner at the counter bar with my cousin. They make wonderful cocktails. I really enjoyed the Paloma. Both of us had the hanger steak, cooked perfectly and the black eyed peas and rice were a delicious accompanying side. Will definitely come back.

I honestly don't know and we weren't on the patio to notice if any dogs were there. You'll have to check with the restaurant.

Description
No stranger to the dining scene in Los Angeles, Brad Johnson's latest venture, Post & Beam, is intended to bring warm hospitality, exciting, yet approachable cuisine and good times to the surrounding neighborhoods of the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza. Brad has created memorable places since relocating to California from NYC in 1989. Remember Georgia, that was him, minus some of the gray hair.
