We were on our way to LAX to head home. We were going to skip dinner and grab something at the airport. We were behind schedule and it was going to be close for our red eye flight. Suddenly we started getting texts that our flight would be delayed for two hours. We were passing Dinah's diner and said "Oh... More

A group of us had a wonderful breakfast. It is mostly your usual breakfast items, but the vintage atmosphere and home cooking won us over. It is suppose to be great for fried chicken too, but I will have to wait for next time I am in the area.

Overall the food and service were both excellent. Our server was polite friendly and helpful and ensured we got what we wanted. Food arrived hot and was very tasty. I had two pieces of chicken - one was moist and juicy, the other was quite dry and tough, so mixed review there, but on the whole the food was nice.... More

We had breakfast Sunday morning and it was busy. The food was good, very big portions. Typical diner look and feel with history. We enjoyed it and we would go back for sure. I suggest share plates because the portions are huge.

Very tasty comfort food that fully satisfies. The coleslaw is one of my favorites anywhere. The potato salad is great. The sweet potato fries are delicious. I'm not a fan of salads at diners (think iceberg lettuce). Go for the comfort food! The are few classic diners left around LA. This is one I love. Everything is just as you'd... More

Place was fairly quiet in mid afternoon . All three of us had reasonable but not exceptional meals . The waitress was very polite and quick on drink refills .

I had a plate of the two best things they serve: Fried chicken and ribs. The pork ribs were meaty and tasty. The chicken tasted like they'd friend fish in the same grease, so...no to that. Pineapple in the coleslaw was surprising but good,

Maybe we ordered wrong or just hit a bad day, but my husband & I were very disappointed with the food. The pancakes were nothing special, the ham was fatty and the food was lukewarm. I'm also sorry to say it needs a good cleaning. The table was next to the wall where all the condiments sit was sticky and... More
