Its hard not to compare Langers' to NYC deli's. They are a jewish style deli and they make a mean sandwich, but the quality is not there. I had the grilled corned beef with swiss cheese and sauerkraut. My wife had the hot roast turkey...More

Had a pastrami, Swiss and Russian dressing sandwich on rye. The best part was, seriously, the bread! Crusty and chewy, it surpassed the tasty pastrami. Service was super prompt and friendly, but a bit pricey (sandwich and tea was $22).

Lunch is very crowded and all sorts of people are busy at their pastrami sandwiches and what-not. Very simple deli environment. Very good sandwiches and rye bread. It's always called the best in Los Angeles and one of those things that you just have to...More

We went there because of the good reviews and we were not disappointed! Ham&Egg, Bacon&egg and number 19 were awesome! Omelett as well! Definitely will recommend and come again

After years of hearing the lofty praises of Langer's Deli, I had the opportunity to meet friends there for lunch. I was impressed by how many eaters there were, but not impressed by the eating. Admittedly, the three of us only had the prized pastrami...More

OMG! Langers has the BEST pastrami rueben sandwich. I've tried many places coast to coast and hands down they are the BEST in the nation! The pastrami is seasoned perfectly, it's cooked perfectly, it's juicy and yummmy! The rueben is perfect there for many reasons....More

Overrated! Langers is famous for its pastrami sandwiches, but tone great the pastrami has to be cut very thin then piled layer on layer. Langers cuts it thick, so you lose the great mouth-watering sensation of a top kosher pastrami sandwich. Alas.

If Norm Langer is the guy who started Langers, he passed away. As to exactly who cuts the goods now, I am guessing it is the person with the big knife and gifted eyes and hands. Levity never (?) hurt anyone. If it is... More
