The atmosphere is pretty down home, but comfortable. The wait was reasonable for an early dinner on a Sunday night. The waffles were amazing, the chicken pretty good but a lil dry. The mac and cheese was pretty good but at almost $5 for a little side dish, was overpriced. When my son accidentally forgot his orthodontic retainer in a... More
roscoes was always a cool place to go with chicken and waffles being one of the best deals in town. The problem is the prices go up every year and are near outrageous at this time. To go along with the increases the quality has severely dropped. precooked chicken and waffles ensures that the waffles aren't hot enough and the... More
The ultimate LA experience would not be complete without a trip to Roscoe's for some fingerlicking good home style crispy fried chicken and waffles. Damn! This place is popular on the weekends so make sure you reserve extra time waiting for the next available table. Luckily for us, we visited during a lull period on a weekday and managed to... More
I was in L.A. for a couple of days and finally got a chance to eat at Roscoe's. I've had chicken and waffles home in NYC, but I just had to try world famous Roscoe's and they didn't disappoint. The fried chicken was good, but the waffles were off the hook! I had the Obama Special (3-wings and a waffle).... More
I had the original chicken and waffles, soooo good! If I had more time I would have tried the mac and cheese. My friend got that and it looked delicious.
I got the Carol C Special which is a waffle and a chicken breast. The only thing missing was cornbread. It was delicious as always. Also a bonus was there was no wait for 1-2 people. The chicken was hot and moist. The waffle was cooked to perfection. The wait staff was nice and the order was delivered promptly.
My family and I were excited to eat here after eating at the one in Inglewood a few times on our last vacation to LA. We were seated quickly by the very nice hostess but from the time he left us and the time we first received our drinks was about thirty minutes, and only then was our drink order... More
Heard so much about Roscoe's had to stop in and verify for myself. We had the Obama special and it was pretty good. Chicken was flavorful not overly juicy though, I like my chicken to have juices fried or not. Waffle was fluffy and pretty much your average waffle. Boy oh boy the butter was abundant (had to scoop most... More
