El Torito has been around for a long time. We stopped in for drinks and appetizers during happy hour. Margaritas and Nachos were great! Our server was awesome...she kept checking back frequently to make sure we were okay and/or wanted another drink....not pushy at all, just attentive.

We ordered flavored margaritas which were delicious. Chips and salsa accompanied our drinks. The tortilla chips tasted like the oil they were cooked in, had an after taste and seemed stale. We asked our waiter to bring fresh chips which he did. They were better but not by much. We all ordered different dinner items but mine wasn't what I... More

We had 2 of their Margaritas, very good! The food was nice too, slightly too spicy for me but overall tasty. I had the combo with tamale and tacos, was plenty but you can do 3 items as well if you are super hungry. The fajitas were excellent too! They give you free tortillas chips with salsa when you arrive.... More

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo here and had a delicious burrito dinner that included refried beans and rice and their famous corn pudding. We started out with their complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. The food is consistently good and plentiful. We called for reservations and only had to wait 5 minutes before we were seated. This was great because the... More

I met with family for lunch, and the food really wasn't very good. We had combinations with a taco and enchilada. Very bland, even with adding salsa to the top. Not much meat or chicken in the enchiladas. Tacos were ok. Didn't care much for the salsa either, pretty plain tasting, no spice. perhaps they have a spicier salsa somewhere?!... More

I went to El Torito Restaurant in Woodland Hills. I had the lunch buffet. I wasn't all that thrilled. The main problem I found that the music was so loud that you couldn't have a conversation with the people you went to lunch with. We asked them if they could lower the music, but was told that the level it... More

The Service: Our server, Ferman & Niki are excellent. Very attentive and thoughtful. Constantly checking upon us. Great service!! The drinks: Reasonable price for the drinks. They are not too strong though. They also serve chips and salsa. The Parking: Parking lot shared with Fry's (free)

I was going to write about my experience at El Torito this evening but then I thought, if you are reading a review on a Tex-Mex chain restaurant located in the culinary wasteland of Woodland Hills, you're probably some poor business person who is either out of decent choices or in the mood for Tex Mex. You don't want a... More

Good Tex-Mex food. Happy to find someplace to eat about 10 pm. The waiter was friendly if not attentive. They served a lot of food. I felt like the dining area could use a deep cleaning. They have daily specials.
