We were in Los Angeles to attend a wedding and wanted a restaurant where we could count on getting really good food for a dinner with family members we hadn't seen for some time. We had read some reviews of Cafe Bizou, in the Sherman Oaks area of LA, and it fully lived up to its reputation. The food was... More

This restaurant is amazing! The food is absolutely delicious! The entire menu is fantastic but a few of my favorites are the Monkfish served over risotto and topped with crispy carrots is to die for! Their lamb is divine. Their wine and cocktail choices are expansive, try their "pear-tini" for a great start to any meal. End your meal with... More

By far, my favorite restaurant in LA for almost 20 years. The food is consistently fabulous, and the staff lovely. I'm pretty much addicted to the Balsamic Chicken, so much so that I've tried on many occasions to re-create the sauce (alas, to no avail) -- and apparently everyone I recommend it to feels the same way. The restaurant is... More

An excellent restaurant for French cuisine. The escargot is a must to start. Rib Eye Steak and Lobster shrimp and scallop pasta was superb. For dessert the Bread pudding, Creme Brûlée and Profiteroles with ice cream is the best way to end. The service was very friendly and good.

What a truly great gem. Wonderful food, service & menu. Great service. Make sure you make reservations. Had several different dishes and they were all great. Had their Rack of Lamb which was great. Never disappointed.

They won't honor your reservation. The old joke, "So crowded nobody eats there anymore!" definitely applies. It's hit or miss--when you can actually sit and eat, it's great, but the front desk has an unpredictable way of picking who gets to sit. I've been here at least 8 times in five years but I think we'll stay away for a... More

Extensive menu with many standard dishes. Seafood risotto was tasty, right sized and fair priced. Nice wine selection. Great desserts too! Parking is challenging. Reservations suggested.

Casual dining at it's best. Good Italian food at good prices makes this place busy all the time so call ahead, especially on weekends.

The Sherman Oaks location is just a tad better than the one in Pasadena, both in food and atmosphere. The classic menu is well-prepared, bread is crusty and warm, the low corkage fee has always been a big attraction. Many choices with something for everyone. Our favorites include the pork tenderloin, steak au poivre, salmon with citrus relish. The huge... More

A lively bar for pre-dinner drinks. Excellent service with knowledgeable servers. We happened to be there on a weekend when it was Dine LA, so it was a special menu. I had the lobster and lobster which was delicious. The lobster tail was cooked perfectly as were the slipper lobster. One terrific aspect of this restaurant is that there is... More
