We go there a lot, at least twice a month. The food is great, most of the staff is friendly, great margaritas. Miguel and Floyd are the nicest waiters. The place has been in business forever, and it's very charming. It's a great place for tourists as well, to get a little taste of L.A. Definitely recommend.

I've been going to El Coyote for most of my life. The food is good, the margaritas are great and the atmosphere is awesome. It's absolutely worth the visit.

When you walked into the restaurant it's like a maze. We started the meal off with freshly made guacamole. I had enchiladas for mains and whilst tasty - they are on the cheesy side. All in all quite a traditional if not vintage experience.

Party of four arrived around 7:30 pm without reservation, although the restaurant was crowded we were seated right away. Wide selection on the menu. We each had something different and all was good. The decor is reminiscent of "old" Mexican restaurants, colorful with lots to look at. There is a great collection of old toys in the entry area that... More

Great Mexican food, stunning margaritas (go for the rocks on the side you'll get more!) I have spent many a night here, it is a great locale for parties. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Strangely enough I find this place charming & a real dinning experience for a fun lunch or night out.Forget the narrow minded lady who owns the place. Most of the staff is lovely & embarrassed by her ignorance... Its a nice place Some good Mexican grub & drink. We can't let ignorance rule our life... Strangely enough I find this... More

I wanted to visit this place since I had heard of it for a long time. Lots of famous people have dined here including Manson victims, Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring and her friends on the night of their murders. I had the #1 combo (cheese enchilada and beef taco with rice and beans) since it was the most popular according... More

We had dinner in this old known restaurant. Food was amazing and the portions were big. The margaritas are powerful. And the price really affordable 8 people for almost 200$. Worth a visit.

Went to El Coyote last night and was glad to see that it is still the friendly fun place I remembered. I had my Combination 2 which is the Chile Relleno and Chicken Enchilada. We also had Cadillac Margaritas that were really good and plenty strong! My friend had fajitas which can be better elsewhere but they came with some... More

So I was really excited to go here. It is afterall a legendary Hollywood restaurant. It was good but I think I honestly expected more. The margaritas were good, but nothing special. I had the fajitias which again were good but nothing extraordinary. Not somewhere I would put at the top of my list but still good.
