This is a place I would detour a100 miles off my route to go to. Don’t let the location deter you. It’s in a quirky out of the way location. As my father said, the best locations are economical and not necessarily a place you...More

Brent's is a traditional deli like the ones I grew up with back east. Many LA deli's just use the word "deli' so they can jack up the price of a sandwich. Brent's piles the sandwich so thick, it's worth the higher price. They are...More

Great deli, many choices and varieties of delicacies to enjoy. Service is quick and friendly, prices are high as it's a deli but the taste is great

Uh huh. Well. Writing about deli's is a subject fraught with dangers, an ocean of chicken soup littered with matzo ball mines. There are but three true delis in Los Angeles, as far as I can tell: Langer's , Canter's and Brent's. Most in LA...More

Even though we live within 10 miles of Brents I had never gone there, until I read a story in the New York Times about delis in the US. They had sent out a reporter to spend the summer going to delis in the US...More

Brents delicatessen is, in my opinion, the best delicatessen in Los Angeles. Excellent pastrami and very tasty turkey. Can’t go wrong with a good deli.

I was raised on delis and Brent's NEVER disappoints. Huge portions of old school pastrami, corned beef and brisket that is worth every penny. Also heavenly soups latkes, and smoked fish. For a real authentic deli experience you don't have to go to NY, just...More

The eclairs are huge & delicious & the best I have had in the valley and I always take them to go. The pastrami sandwich is usually delicious but the recent visit when I ate it I had heartburn all day. Service is great and...More

Because I don't have small kids anymore, I have never noticed but I am sure they do. It's a great restaurant and child friendly.

I have neighbors that go to NYC a few times a year, and enjoy the pastrami from pastrami Queen (mentioned in the Wall Street Journal recently). They tell me that Brent's pastrami and rye bread are better. Los Angeles now... More
