Having travelled from Sydney, Australia for a Persian wedding in OC, I was very impressed that our group of 14 was accommodated at short notice in a Saturday night. I should preface this by stating that the Flame is very popular with the Persian community and that our group is Persian. The chelo kebab was excellent, as was the starters... More

We were taken to this restaurant by people well-versed in Persian food. The place was busy with a fine range of aromas coming from the kitchen. It isn't cheap, but there are dishes with rice and cous cous that you would not normally eat The portions were huge, even though we shared one or two. Service was very attentive.

It's the best Santa Monica has to offer. We went to SM as a transit city and stayed at IHG. Flame was walking distant from where we stayed. The exterior is impressive and we wanted to try something different. OMG!! It's worth the try. Awesome! Great! Food!!

Plentiful food especially for meat lovers. We ordered a range of dishes to share. Tons of food. No liquor license. BYOB. Buzzy and energetic atmosphere. Worth the trip.

Except of viewing the Persian style of Westwood Blvd, you can enjoy some traditional Persian food in here. I recommend Tahchin and also Soltani Kabob as on of the best foods of them. They serve very delicious bread as appetizer at first. Great environment, very courteous staff

The restaurant has a nice ambiance. The wait staff is attentive. I ordered Chelo Kebab (Koobideh). The food is really tasty and delicious. Too bad I can't finish them all because the serving of the food is really huge.

I felt the food was good for the price charged on the Lunch special! We were a large party and the staff was very attentive. I believe everyone was quite satisfied.

The Persian food was amazing, and absolutely worth the cost. We had a blast there, eating, drinking hot tea, and smoking hookah on a cold evening. I'd highly recommend it for a night out with friends. It's filled with young people. There's heaters outside but it's a little dim from what I could tell. The lighting is great for eating... More

I've taken my family here a few times while visiting from out of town. The chelo kebab is solid and the salads and strews are good as well. They are good about refilling the tea and they are always nice about us bringing in a toddler.
