Went here after a conference for dinner. Peers had steak, but I tried the fish. Oops. Feel like I paid a lot and I didn't like the experience. Dont have the salmon, have the steak.

Who knew? A country style restaurant in downtown L.A. Wonderful local ranch photos on the walls inside. The restaurant had a comfy outdoor area for our group of 12. We experienced great service as we enjoyed wonderful happy hour foods, including Austin Fish Tacos, Pink Eggs & Ham and ahi poke. All spicy and tasty. We enjoyed sangria and great... More

Had the Bleu cow burger. Not usually a fan of bleu cheese but the waitress recommended that and the ribs. She was right, the hamburger was great. Loved their French fries. They were the size of steak fries but were nice and crisp. It cost around $15 + tax. A bit expensive for a hamburger, but good price for dinner... More

You have to get the brussels sprouts. Best. Ever. I had the salmon and it was fantastic too. Great service on top of the great food. Thanks.

Last night was my 5th visit to Blue Cow Kitchen & Bar, located in the lower plaza level of the Two California Plaza on Grand Ave. in Downtown L.A. Every time my wife and I visit, we are more impressed than the last. The service is always spot on; friendly, efficient and accommodating. We usually sit in the patio, and... More

Ended up here while in LA for a conference with some co-worker friends and loved everything about Blue Cow. Amazing atmosphere inside and out (which was so comfortable I thought about sitting there until I was hungry again), great menu with fresh ingredients and taste combinations, big (and creative) drink menu, and the service couldn't have been any better. Our... More

Having ate here many times, it's a must go place for hanging out after work. The Royal with Cheese is a burger that is hard to beat! Great staff and restaurant. Love this place. Slightly hard to find. In the lower courtyard across from the The Court shopping area.

We were staying nearby so decided to try this place. It was ok - our server was friendly and seemed to know his stuff. I had the daily special of turkey meatballs which were very tasty but there was only 5, on a big pile of VERY salty french fries. Apparently the cobb salad and mini sliders were good. At... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
Downtown Los Angeles is a busy metropolis of towering buildings, bustling streets, and industrial warehouses. There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification. New lofts, bars, hotels and restaurants are popping up regularly. Downtown is home to some of the very best restaurants in the city leading the LA foodie scene, plus it is the location of cultural and sports venues including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Staples Center, and the Coliseum at the University of Southern California.
