My wife and I went down to Port’s of Call on a Sunday afternoon.. big mistake as the place and parking lot was so jammed you could not get in. We then used TripAdvisor and decided on Mishi’s Strudel instead. When we walked in I thought Oh No this is a tea room because everybody was eating desert and drinking... More

We were delighted to find this gem in Long Beach. The restaurant, owned by a Hungarian family, serves many kinds of strudels as well as crepes. We had beef strudels, which came with a flaky, paper-thin crust. My son had the spicy beef empanada (empanadas are new addition to the menu). We were curious about the crepes, which lived up... San Pedro is not historically a foodie haven, but hidden away here is the most lovely and wonderful little Hungarian pastry shop and restaurant. Each dish is lovingly and individually prepared, and comes to the table piping hot and nicely presented. The Cabbage Pasta (Káposztás Tészta) is surprisingly delicious for such a simple dish, a must try! Service is warm... More

How time flies, to coin a cliché… I thought it was about six months since we came across Mishi’s while house-hunting in San Pedro, but on checking my previous TripAdvisor report, I see it was more like 15 months, so now that we’ve moved there, and been back to Mishi’s, and found it just as good as before, it was... We ordered two strudels to go for a dinner party and while waiting had lunch. The savory strudel and the everything crepe. They were terrific, so flavorful and delicious. The apple strudel and the blueberry strudel were the hit of the party. The next time I am in the area, I will definitely make a detour to stop at Mishis.

Mishi's is not exactly a dinner place because of its hours of operation, but it has delicious pastries with selected Hungarian dishes such as real goulash (which, by the way, is a soup) and crepes with savory fillings. Service is friendly. Note that there is no public bathroom on the premises.

I liked the variety of breakfast foods, omelets, strudels, pancakes. Good homemade morning food. You should take out for a good treat later. Check-out the many bake goods.

A one of a kind place in San Pedro. A little bit of Hungary. Like visiting good friends for dinner or desert. Everything is first class.

Start with a huge perfect cup of coffee, attentive waitress, great food, and top it off with a cute setting in San Pedro. Perfection! We are already planning what we will eat on our next visit!

Located in the San Pedro dining area is this little Hungarian restaurant. Restaurant is open in the middle of the day between 9 and 4. One is best served to visit for a late breakfast or lunch. I was fortunate to get a visit during my business trip through the area. Greeted and helped promptly by the friendly staff. Some... More
