Great history and majestic ship building will wow you. Take the family, they'll love it and it's not to pricey. Gives you great views of downtown long beach as well.

Considering LA is not an old city, this is one of the few places where you can get an excellent glimpse of what it was to be part of the international jet set crowd in the 1930s, through 1960s. Plenty of historical things plus little...More

It’s fantastic if you like strolling a beautiful boat. There festivals here are generally great too. I loved the Princess Diana tea service, though it was a bit pricey.

No problem getting a table with water views. Good service at Chowder House; atmosphere a little plain. Tasty food and large portions at dinner. Poor service at Cafe. The breakfast buffet was a good option with lots of choices.

Believe you have the answers here. Best high tea I've ever had. As my mom always told me, you get what you pay for--meaning it's pricey, but well worth it.
