This is a great little market & restaurant on the corner of 5th & Pine in Long Beach. They have a market with lots of vegetarian & vegan frozen dinners, ice cream, & other desserts. They have a great beer & wine section (also great selection that is already chilled!). Fresh vegetables, fruit, cheeses & bread. The restaurant makes everything... More

Healthy healthy healthy! Plus location location location! What else do you want other than these 2? This is located in Long Beach so don't talk about price. Nation, get to know the location in order to understand the price. Whatever the case is the place serves healthy food. Because it's so healthy they make it fresh for you which means... More

Had a limited amount of time today for lunch while visiting a client in Longbeach. Wanted to stay away from the chain stores. I was recommended Kress Market. Great choice! Menue was good size with a variety of sandwiches different salads and all made fresh and by hand. You can get food to eat there, sidewalk seating or to go.... More

My daughter and I enjoy going to Kress. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is healthy and fresh. One time they had a taco stand just outside and I tried it and ended up loving it even though I am not fond of tacos. I ate three!!! I also enjoy their organic grocery. It might not be as... More

they have a lot of health food, all their meals are made of fresh everything! I know this is a common claim however I have no ties with the market beyond being a customer.

Limited menu and nothing for children. Won't be back. Maybe our most disappointing meal in Long Beach

After traveling from DC and getting settled into my downtown Long Beach hotel I needed provisions. I found the market and got a delicious panini that came with a fresh and flavorful salad. I was very impressed. The staff were super friendly too!

If you like your convenience stores on the upscale/hipster side, Kress is the right place. They have a few staples like milk, eggs, coffee, etc... but also some more upscale selections like Lambic Framboise (highly recommended), free-trade chocolate bars, artisan coffee beans and medium tier whiskies and wines. If you're looking for a Hershey bar and a 40oz of Old... More

I stopped into Kress-Market for a quick sandwich and was very impressed with the place. I ordered a Kress Sandwich, which is basically grilled chicken, sprouts, beet root, and other forms of deliciousness you don't normally see on a typical deli sandwich. The food takes a little while to prepare here, because they were cooking my chicken to order. I... More

Kress Market! - Your convenient little market and deli when you feel like you are too good for Fresh and Easy around the corner. I like Kress Market. Everything in there is organic and seemingly quite fresh. Selection isn't completely comprehensive but then again the market is quite small when you compare it to just about anything. But ask for... Please check the cuisine. This is deli/market with some great options for organic foods and juices. Hard to find in the area. Would be good to have it lised for those looking in the area.
