This small restaurant and bakery and the foothills of the Sierras in Lone Pine is a yummy treat! We always stop there to eat a very tasty breakfast before we go explore the Alabama Hills or Mt. Whitney. Yes it is worth a stop before...you head up the hill.More

If you need to get out to hike or drive, eat here. It opens at 0600. The baked goods are not to be passed up and very good. The cinnamon rolls are great. The chocolate chocolate chip loaf cake - unbelievable. The breakfast and lunch...is good. Homemade bread is a base for many of the offerings. The wait staff is very friendly. Remember - this place closes mid afternoon.More

A cute little cafe just outside the Alabama Hills that serves yummy good old fashioned home-style cooking. We visited for breakfast and enjoyed our omelettes and hashbrowns. The service was great and the decor is cute - featuring lots of hand-drawn images of the formations...in the hills. The menu features a good map of the area too!More

We tried the skillet and omelette. Both are excellent. The cold blew coffee is wonderful. Service is great!

After missing our opportunity to eat in one of our favorite places in Bishop, we took a chance and tried Alabama Hills Cafe & Bakery in Lone Pine!! OMG - we picked a winner. Service was outstanding, social distancing in place and all staff were...masked and friendly above and beyond! My husband and I shared the Alabama Bacon Burger and fries! Best burger I have had in a long time - fresh 1/2 # beef, bacon, all grilled to perfection. And the homemade hamburger buns! The best. I usually avoid gluten, but this, I couldn't pass up. We met a long time local, "Dr. Ben" who was having lunch with friends. Great experience - This will definitely be on our radar while driving back and forth to Tahoe from SoCal.More

My wife and I travel to Lone Pine a few times every year but always in Oct. The Alabama Hills Café has been on our have to stop for list for great meals and this last week was again the best every. I saw a...comment about no masks or gloves, well three days in a row we did see they were taking it very seriously. So now onto the food, AWESOME.. And the cinnamon rolls are the BEST!! Service as always is great. I will say thank goodness they smile with their eyes. We did enjoy dinning outside and the view of the Alabama Hills makes it all that much better. Can't to get back :-)More

We just had breakfast/ lunch at this little gem. This is a small bakery/ cafe. Local. Awesome. We had the breakfast burrito ( clearly enough for two), skillet breakfast and the veggie grilled sandwich. I cannot express how delicious it all was. And the portions...are always enough to share! The service was great and friendly and Covid safe. Loved it!More

Beautiful scenery from their outdoor seating. Go inside to order, go outside to find your seat. They do bring your food out to you. Friendly staff great portions, and I'm an excellent meal altogether!

Great staff. So welcoming and kind. Great coffee which you need in the morning. Awesome, fresh cinnamon rolls- try one. Best breakfast burrito (we had bacon in ours). Truly - fed three of us with a cinnamon roll or easily two hungry people. We also...got BLT’s to go for lunch. Again - delicious!More

If you want to stay safe, stay the heck away from this place. I went in there twice and turned right around after seeing staff with NO MASKS and NO GLOVES serving food!!!!! Clearly these people do not care about their customers.

I would certainly check with them. The restaurant is small and they may have 25 tables fitting four people plus they have seats at the counter. It is worth the call ... their food is awesome and affordable!

As said the Cafe is too small but you will need to reserve in advance for just about anywhere with that number of people !
