Not the best burger ever but hit the spot today. Onion rings and fires were both good too. Staff was friendly. Outdoor seating was a little closer than we would have preferred but all worked out just fine. Beer was nice and cold too

I had to try the Mt Whitney burger with two 1/3 pound patties. It was very good and filling. It came with a big order of French fries and a salad which was more than adequate for dinner
We ordered the Philly cheese which was really good. Only complaint was it was very small for the price. The service was excellent and the atmosphere as awesome with all the memorabilia. I would return even though I felt the portion was a bit small...for the price.More
We stopped by and sat on the patio and had a pitcher of beer. The menu is large. We had been eating pretty unhealthy that week so we each ordered some different salads and they were all great. The restaurant makes its own salad dressing...and they were all very good. The place has a great local vibe and the wait staff is very friendly and helpful. the weather was perfect and the town is great and we had a wonderful experience at this restaurant and can't wait to go back for breakfast in the morning.More
We had one of the best burgers I have had in a long time! We had the bacon cheese burger. I was served with red onion, tomato, and lettuce. It was fully cooked but not over cooked. It was great. Their onion rings were good...too! I was not a fan of the fries but they were okay. They have outdoor dining. Their staff was nice and friendly.More
We got lunch here on the advice of the clerk at hour local hotel. It was an extremely hot day (105), and seating was outside, first come, first seated. We ordered in the doorway of the restaurant. I ordered the Mt. Whitney burger. My daughter...got chicken strips. We found a table outside, off the parking lot. It was in the sun, so it was hot out there. Our waitress was very nice and brought water right away. The restaurant appeared to be doing a pretty good job with social distancing and COVID precautions. Our food came out quickly. As soon as our food arrived, we were able to more to a vacated table under a canopy. So much better! My burger was good, nothing special. It hit the spot, though. My daughter also had a milkshake, which was very good. It was too big! The customers seemed to be trying to do a good job of wearing masks and social distancing. This was much appreciated. I give this place kudos for doing what they could to keep their customers safe, and I'd go back again to try a different burger!More
The food was ok for the price, I was happy to see that did have a vegetarian burger, it looked like black bean burger not too sure. Its an ok place as far as food goes but the beers were great lol
For vegetarians, you can turn any burger into a veggie option for no charge. I had the Alabama Hills burger with mushrooms and cheese. My wife had the Nevada Smith burger, also with a veggie patty. Portion sizes were just right, not on the heavy...side. Food available as takeaway or dining in parking lot - most tables have coverings to keep you out of the sun. Staff are courteous, working hard and doing their best in these difficult times. A good lunch option on Highway 395.More
Who knew the best veggie omlette I'd ever had would come from a little place in a tiny town. FRESHEST veggies ever!
New Owners I think from 4 or 5 years ago...service was impeccable. Server was a young man named, "Chris" (I think). Food was very good! Had an Alabama Hills burger. Very nice! But they handled the Coronavirus better than any restaurant I've been in so...far, anywhere! They deserve an award. They wore masks, utilized hand sanitizers, had you run your own credit card, etc.! Most restaurants have some noticeable flaws. Either the server touches the credit card, the credit card runner thing, and then your food without sanitizing or worse. I didn't find one flaw at Mt. Whitney Restaurant!! Thank you for caring & respecting your staff and your customers!!More
