Service was good and seating is socially distanced. Food was only average but home cooked style and we were glad they were open on a long holiday weekend.

I love scrambles, and here had one of the best! It’s an unassuming little place with old decor, but the tables are nicely spaced, it was quiet, and along with the great breakfast, we had nice, friendly attentive service, making for a great breakfast stop...along 395.More

We noticed this restaurant while driving through Lone Pine on the way home from our Mammoth Lakes vacation. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions there were not many restaurants that offered outdoor seating but this one did. The restaurant has a nice outside area with artificial...grass and wrought iron tables & chairs in the shade of the building. Since we arrived around 10:30 AM we were too early for lunch which is served beginning 11 AM but the breakfast menu was expansive so we found some good choices. I had a veggie omelet which was delicious and served with potatoes and toast. There is ample parking along the street. The two waitresses which were courteous and helpful were also very busy and one mentioned that they were short-handed that day but the service was fine, nevertheless. To speed things up, I went inside to pay the bill. This is a great choice for a breakfast or lunch in Lone Pine.More

It's hard to describe the Totem Cafe in Lone Pine. The interior is decorated a bit like a Western saloon. The chairs and tables don't all match, a choice that seems intentional. There is a large section of the dining room that looks unfinished. I...wondered if it sometimes got used for live music or dancing. Odd. I ordered a sausage soup as a starter; it was quite good. My entree was the pasta primavera. The vegetables were pretty good on this, but there simply wasn't enough pasta (linguine) to balance them out. Service was fine.More

It was like eating in a western saloon. Old tables and chairs, but comfortable. The walls were decorated like the wild west. The waitress was a sweetheart, and the menu was diverse. My wife ordered flat iron steak, and I had shrimp scampi. My shrimp...was so tasty, and my wife loves shrimp, we both ended up with a surf & turf dinner.More

I ate here twice during my stay and both times had a pretty good meal. However, service is a bit slow and lax, especially on my first visit. Service could use an improvement. Otherwise I enjoyed my meals very much.

An authentic local spot with a big following among residents and plenty of room for visitors passing through. Friendly service, quality soups and sandwiches for a satisfying lunch.
