Every time my son comes home for the weekend, his first request is the Ale House! He loves the beer, atmosphere, and says it is just part of being home! The staff is always so kind to us and we love coming!! Thanks for being a consistently amazing place for families and friends to get together and hang out!!

We have visited this place a few times now since our move to Livermore. Every time we have had attentive service, even during the peak hours, and we will surely return. Go on Thursdays and get in on the Pint Night special drink prices or get in to check out any of their awesome (revolving) taps and usual drinks. Food... More

Visiting Livermore around dinner time. This was my wife and I second choice to go to eat. The first place we wanted was packed! Ended here at First Street Ale House which isn't our first. Walked in and found two seats at the bar, greeted almost immediately by bartender with a smile to take the drink order. Great selection of... More

We arrived after traveling all day and were very hungry. Our lovely waitress quickly took appetizer orders and we enjoyed the spicy fries and nachos. Our dinners soon followed and all the entrees were yummy as well. The only less-than-perfect issue was the noise. We couldn't really hear ourselves talk.

Great food an a large selection of local beers. A good atmosphere with TVs with sports running if you care to watch. Other tables are more secluded without the TVs.

Great Burgers. Vast wine and beer selection. Good appetizers. Place was packed. We pre-order a 12 topper and were seated in less than 20 minutes. Not alot of parking in this area for all businesses so good luck. Lots of choices in this area but we wanted burgers. Thick and juicy...full of flavor. Great sweet potato fries too.

We stopped here for lunch and sat outside. The staff is very good and very friendly. We had the burgers. They are a good value - starting at $9.00. The burger is good sized and comes with a selection of sides. The fruit was fresh and included strawberries and pineapple. The selection of ales is impressive. Even on a Sunday... More

We went in as a group of 16ppl, we had to make reservations even for a 5:30PM. Service was quick, beer plenty, and food ok both appetizers and main course. Not the cleanest place around and very busy. Not that expensive.
