I came here with my family last Sunday night. It was busy! We ordered Mongolian Beef, Honey Walnut Shrimp, Kung Pao chicken, plus wonton soup. The soup tastes so fresh. Yes, fresh! I don't know how they made it. Never got such a good soup before. The Mongolian Beef is absolutely fabulous. The beef is so tender, with great taste.... More

Been coming to Mandarin Terrace for almost 30 years now. Was one of their first customers if not THE first when Tammy and Steven opened. Sadly since it changed hands the quality control is down. The Crispy Duck wasn't fresh and had it replaced w/ Hot Braised Shrimp. Same problem. Either the meat had been left out too long or... More

This place is not good. Go somewhere else, supermarket Chinese food. Small portion. Chow mein, fried rice and Kung pao chicken were okay. Soup was greasy. Yuck, making me nauseous just thinking about it. Serivce is better than your average Chinese restaurant.

I have been going to this restaurant for years, the time before last it wasn't good. To be fair, gave it a second chance and agin, disappointed. No, Tammy was not there. The food wasn't the same, very little meat on the ribs and they were burnt. The size of the orders cut down. Very, very disappointed!

This place serves up consistently good Chinese fare in a pleasant atmosphere. Tammy, the owner is usually on hand to welcome guests and make sure meals are just what the diner desires.

I love this restaurant. The food is delicious. The menu has a lot of choices, including many dishes you wouldn't find at most other Chinese restaurants. They also have quite a few choices for vegetarians. (Try the Tofu Family Style! SO yummy!). But beside that, the service is FANTASTIC! They're always super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and decor are... More

Tammy and her husband Steve do a wonderful job of making you feel like family. The staff is long tenured and they always greet by name. Ask for a little something extra and they go the extra mile. Sue and Linda keep the place hopping and the diners satisfied.

Before passing through Laguna Hills, my wife and I checked Trip Advisor for recommendations. Mandarin Terrace was the #2 recommended spot, so we thought that we would try it. Mandarin Terrace is located in an outdoor shopping center that is next to the Laguna Hills Mall and facing Interstate 5. If taking I-5 to the restaurant, exit at El Toro... More

We frequently go past several other Chinese restaurants to eat at Mandarin Terrace. The food is always excellent and the staff is attentive. Since moving to Mission Viejo five years ago we've probably eaten there at least once a month!
