It was a great place for fresh seafood which was excellently prepared. I have been going there for years. I am not certain why they have left.

I have been there several times and have never been disappointed. The seafood is always cooked to perfection and the restaurant staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Sadly the Yankee Pier in Lafayette has closed as of January 11, 2019. It will be missed. That does not leave Lafayette with a seafood restaurant any longer, although other restaurants usually have a seafood entree option.

After 11 years, looks like the rent increases and other factors caught up with them. They served their last meal in Lafayette earlier this month. My rating is obviously skewed

What the hell is Moana thinking?? This place is packed every time we go there and is the only seafood venue in the East Bay Lamorinda area.

Great local place to get fresh seafood without the frills or fuss. Casual atmosphere, great customer service, and excellent fish and seafood. Ambiance is plain, but outside patio dining is cute. Corkage fee is only $15.

Unassuming-that is the best description. However, appearances belie the reality. This restaurant has top quality ingredients, properly and reasonably prepared, with outstanding service. The bread and in season heirloom tomatoes would be enough to satisfy the discriminating eater. Clams, salmon and crab cakes were enjoyed...More

Went with girlfriends following a busy day. We had a quiet corner table and were able to visit and have a conversation without straining to hear. They offer a nice variety of seafood dishes, although a bit pricy. Our dishes were perfectly prepared and very...More

Yankee Pier has always been a great place to stop with friends for a quick lunch or dinner. This non-assuming restaurant is the middle of the quaint town of Lafayette, CA. If I had one wish, it would be for a better wine list. Otherwise,...More
