Still very good Italian. Food is good. Very nice sized portions at a very fair price, especially for the Palm Springs area. The "small" pizza is enough to share. The small meat ball sub, 6 inch, was just right. Their Lasagna was also very good. The $5 wine special is worth considering if you drink.

My family has dined at Marios many times over the years. Sadly, we always forget from one time to the next how disappointing the food is. Most recently, we had marinara type dishes (eggplant parm and chicken parm). We find the sauce to be quite flavorless. The eggplant tasted very oily, as if the oil was old. Very unsatisfying. On... Mario's offers a wide variety of Italian dishes and pizza. There is a regular and small portion size for all pasta dishes and you can choose the pasta to go with dish. I love the Angel Hair Carbonara and my wife loves the Lasagna. The restaurant is not large and can be busy during the busy months of January thru... More

My wife and I had lunch at Mario's. It was pleasant enough, but not very inspired... seemed a bit prototypical "American-Italian". The pizza was typically mainstream rather than fresh and crisp as we would have hoped. Maybe the pastas and salads are better choices?

After a long day traveling we were tired and very hungry and not knowing anything about the area we were happy to find Mario's. The service was fast and we were all happy with our respective Fettucine Alfredo, Angel Puttanesca and Gluten free Spaghetti pesto. Nothing fancy but more than we could eat and reasonably priced

Good place for am inexpensive quick meal. The quality is just fair but you get what you pay for. All meals come with a very generous side of spaghetti. I had the chicken Marsala it was just ok. Thin slices of chicken breast and lots of Spaghetti. They advertise the largest glass of wine in the valley and on that... More

We have been going to Mario's (all the restaurants) for over 30 years and have never had a bad experience, it's always as advertised good food, low prices and the biggest glass of wine in the desert for $5. Seriously, this food is good and well worth the low price for a meal that you'll have to take home for... More

Nice atmosphere in an Italian setting. Service and food was OK, not great. We just wanted some pasta, and although the portions are huge, the taste left no lasting impression. I had higher expectations for a 13$ carbonara.

Kind of an old style, family run, over 40 years, Italian restaurant. Not gourmet, but very good. Big portions+fairly priced+good service=worth a try if Italian is what you want. The veal Milanese was excellent. They promote the largest glass of wine for $5.00. I would not disagree. You will not be disappointed if you give Mario's a try.

Mario's Italian Cafe has six or seven locations. Ordered eggplant parmigiana and an Italian beer. Friendly helpful service. Food was ok/average. Building decoration furniture dated in need of sprucing up. Ok food at OK prices.
