Not very good food with the pretentious belief of it being French like the take-out Chinese food of the spare ribs kind. Sadly, the only sure bets in this area are steak houses.

Casual French Bistro with nice atmosphere and patio with fountain. Service is excellent. Food is just ok to average, serving classic bistro food. There are better casual French places to dine in the Desert.

Made a reservation for the patio . Seating was delayed for 20 minutes. Service was extremely slow and the entrees took over 30 minutes to be delivered . I ordered the Steak Frittes which was undercooked and bloody on the plate. Overall pretty disappointing food and service. We were the last to leave the restaurant due to the delayed service.

We hooked up with La Quinta friends who told us this is one of their favorite places. When we finished, we knew why. Geoff was our server and took excellent care of us throughout the evening. The PEI mussels were great and the broth was wonderful (great for dipping the bread). The trout was the whole fish and was devoured... More

As always, with Chef Janin in the BOH, the food was some of the best French we have found in the valley. The rack of lamb and the gravlax app were world class. But even more outstanding was the hospitality in the FOH, particularly that of co-owner Kara Janin. We arrived on a busy Saturday night at the peek of... More

We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened. We love the patio, but when the chilly temperatures send you inside, it can be difficult to hear your dining companions. Also, as repeat customers, we find the menu needs to change; it's been basically the same for years. This time we had the mussels and frites (good), the trout... More

We were in La Quinta overnight on a Thursday and chose this restaurant for dinner based on TripAdvisor reviews. If you're a foodie, the fois gras duck confit spinach salad is amazing. Don't order a full entree to follow though, unless you have a huge appetite. Another appetizer or soup is enough to satisfy the appetite. They have a moderately... More

Ten hungry golfer for dinner. Service was friendly and efficient. All enjoyed their meals. Wine list was good. Would definitely return on our next trip.

Chef Emmanuel Janin operates a well run organization in a beautifully appointed atmosphere separated into 2 sections. The first section is located inside the building and the 2nd section is located on the patio. The patio is elegantly decorated with linens and tableware. I highly suggest that when making reservations you request seating on the patio. My wife ordered the... More

I had the roasted trout and my husband had the bouillabaisse. We ate out on the patio. The night was a little cool, but the heater kept us warm (in fact, I asked to have it turned down). The food was good and the services was courteous.
