We had Christmas dinner here with family - were 10 of us, and so pleasantly surprised that service and food both wonderful on a holiday (not always the case). Was a prixe fixe dinner with 5-6 selections and good variety...I think our group tried them all and no one was disappointed. Food was served hot and service was attentive and... More

We chose this place because we were with our octogenarian parents and we needed a place that is accessible and is not super loud. The Lavender Bistro had a reservation open on Christmas Eve and fit the bill. Not all of the reviews here were favorable and I now understand why. We were offered a table in a quiet room... More

This restaurant offers a very pleasant Happy Hour with musical accompaniment that manages to maintain an intimate yet comfortable vibe. The food is a typical Happy Hour menu for this type of better casual desert eatery. Diners are given choices of appetizers, salads, and light entree dishes, as well as mixed drinks and house wines. Of course, a diner may... More

Patio dining is the best in the valley. Plenty of heaters for those cool nights and you can't beat the ambiance outside with lights in the trees and musician. Consistently good food and service. Fries often come out lukewarm, but are readily replaced with hot ones. Best tuna around!

Good location if staying at the La Quintana Hotel and Golf resort. Food is very good with a nice outside atmosphere. I had the chicken, yummy, and my husband had the sole.....it was just okay. Beet salad and butternut squash ravioli were very good...Highly recommend. Service is good. They have live music and it was great. I thought it was... More

We took good friends for a special celebration night. We had heard many great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the meal was average at best. My duck was dried out (must have been cooked two days ago) with very little taste and no sauce at all. It came with two scrawny carrots and a mini pile of dried out wild... More

The 4+ rating on both the Google and Yelp sites were so off. Place is dark, old, with services that is old and slow. Although our dinner reservation was for 8;30PM the lateness of the evening should not reflect upon the overall experience of the establishment. Bread arrived late. Waiter passed through a curtain twice right against our table making... More

Lavender is divided into two selection choices. The Bistro and the Bar/Lounge fire pit area. Have eaten in both spots and it really depends what you want. A more intimate dinner is the Bistro and casual is the lounge. Many item in Bistro menu are in Lounge at a much lower price. Limited menu versus the Bistro . Both foods... More

Desert dining at its best with excellent selection of salads, apps and entrees. The atmosphere is festive with the strings of outdoor patio lights, and toasty thermal heaters to make a cozy setting. We split the fig, ceasar and wedge salads as well as the packed lobster cocktail to start. The portions were very ample, and for dinners, we enjoyed... More
