This is a very cute restaurant. The waiter is really attentive. The food was very good and we were not rushed. We had the lunch meal deal which was more than one could eat. The meal are creative. We ate on the patio. We took home our deserts.

Met up with two other couples as a first time dining experience. We dined outside and Sam was our waiter. We enjoyed the $15 for 3-course lunch. The food was fabulous capped off with homemade ice cream and home made chocolate sauce. We will be back.

Very delicious and creative meals. Always changing but always fantastic dishes. This restaurant rivals great restaurants downtown easily.

This is a charming little restaurant close to my home. I had lunch there after church with friends. The food is good and the wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. It has a nice outdoor patio which in nice weather is very pleasant.

We ate at The Vine Cottage with a family member who lives nearby, and what a treat it was. The restaurant is in a small shopping center and is pretty small itself. It has a limited menu (one page) and a short but thoughtful wine list. Everything is reasonably priced, but the main thing is that everything was very good.... More

Every time we come here it is an absolute pleasure. First because of John, not only an incredible waiter, but a budding sommelier. Second, because the cuisine is superb and its ingredients sublime. Third, because the atmosphere is so cozy that feels like you just stepped off a quiet French country road and stumbled into this charming café. Pick anything... More

This is a new French Japanese Fusion restaurant in La Mesa. They have, among other French dishes, ramen, yakisoba, and shumai dumplings. I was not expecting too much about this Ramen since the chef is not a Japanese. So the Ramen I received was a huge surprise. The noodle was authentic and had a texture of handmade. Soup was first... Tiny, CHARMING spot, perfect for all types of occasions. Who knew this corner of La Mesa hid such a gem? My husband and I went in decidedly different international directions for a Sunday lunch, but couldn't stop stealing bits of each other's meal. I had the duck confit salad which was near perfection, while my husband had the spicy miso... More

We used to love The Vine but it went downhill and we quit going. We decided to give it another chance, not knowing it was under new ownership. What an improvement! We sat near the bar. I had a glass of wine, my hubby a beer from tap. We shared a salad and two flatbread pizzas. Everything was delicious and... More
