This place is beautiful because of the view. We arrived around 1pm on a Saturday and much to my surprise there was barely anyone. We were able to be seated within 5 minutes. At the very top is the open roof seating, but we opted...More

Very pretty view - we had dinner on the terrace with a nice view of la Jolla. Best to look out because the terrace is quite unattractive - with wipe-down plastic table - weird pattern better suited for a bowling alley. Menu was ok –...More

Ate up at the rooftop restaurant. View was spectacular! Service was great and food was great! The hummus platter is large and filling. Fish sandwich was amazing w lots of goodies on it. Could have sat there all day ❤️❤️

George’s has been a staple at the same location in La Jolla for three decades. The food is excellent nouveau cuisine. The view is unparalleled in all of California. There is a formal dining area, an indoor bar and a lively rooftop dining and bar....More

Outstanding in all ways -- great food, excellent service, attentive staff, plus a gorgeous view of the Pacific Ocean. Also enjoyed the people watching. A must visit when in the Village of La Jolla.

Absolutely delicious lunch with a breathtaking view and perfect service. We enjoyed cocktails and a light lunch overlooking the cove. Definitely a pre-mayor spot for business, family, or with friends. This is one spot you want to hit when you are in La Jolla!

View was amazing but food was awful. Grilled octopus appetizer was chewy and cold . My husband's clams were not opened. It seemed as if the food was prepared earlier that day . Bathrooms were filthy too .

You will see a little of everything. It is California! I would highly recommend the rooftop dining. The view is amazing. There is a breeze, but they also have heaters they can put by your table.

George's at the Cove is a renowned three-level dining destination located in the heart of La Jolla overlooking the Pacific Ocean and northern coastline. We offer three distinct restaurant and bar concepts – one fine dining and two casual – with stunning ocean views and award-winning cuisine. Known for its splendid rooftop setting, the popular George’s Ocean Terrace – complete with a newly expanded and elevated bar – offers casual al fresco fare for lunch and dinner that is perfectly complemented by sweeping ocean views. Recently reinvented from floor to ceiling, the all-new George’s Level2 – located on the second level – is elevating the craft of cocktails with housemade ingredients and handcut ice. Featuring all the classics and innovative modern creations, like the signature Sea3, Level2 offers a variety of cocktails well-suited to any taste. On the lower level, George's California Modern is a contemporary fine dining restaurant and bar featuring seasonally-driven California cuisine. Guests are invited to explore “San Diego on a plate” through a la carte or tasting menus inspired by the lifestyle, ingredients and sense of place that is San Diego. Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to enjoy the San Diego lifestyle to its fullest, George’s at the Cove is an essential part of any visit to the region.
