Visited here from Canada and I am so happy I did. Food was incredible! Tacos were so tasty and fresh. It as also quite cheap. The service was also fantastic! Can't think of a bad thing to say. Will definitely be back!!

I travel to La Jolla usually a time or two each year, and usually for 5 days to a week, for the last 10 years. On each visit, we eat at Rubio's at least three times. They perfected the fish taco; nothing else I've tasted...More

Always good for a fish taco, rubio's also has these really good, healthy power salads so my husband and I can get whatever we want.

I took East coast friends to Rubio's to enjoy fish tacos because that's just part of the experience when visiting La Jolla or southern CA. As much as I love Rubio's fish tacos though, the new quinoa/mango salad caught my eye and I'm glad I...More

Good size restaurant of the Rubio's chain. They serve the SoCal fish taco in various form - fried, grilled fish, shrimp, lobster. I like Rubio for a quick SoCal bite.

Description
The first restaurant was opened in 1983 in San Diego by Ralph Rubio and his father, Ray, who started the fish taco phenomenon that spread across the nation. Today, Rubio’s menu has grown from The Original Fish Taco® to include additional chef-crafted seafood recipes that feature shrimp, wild salmon and ono. In addition to sustainable seafood, Rubio’s offers chargrilled chicken and steak, fresh made guacamole and salsas and sauces that are prepared daily.
