Though we thought we'd have to wait, we got a table right away. Food is very good, service very good as well.

This longrunning Italian restaurant has a delightful patio and a great location in La Jolla Shores (if you can park). Pizzas are authentic and superb prepared in a woodburning oven. Pastas are delicious (especially the pappardelle. The meats and fish are OK, but not notable. Sunday brunch was superb and a pleasant surprise after a morning on the beach.
This restaurant has been very consistent over the last twenty years. The service is always excellent. It is a can't miss restaurant. I recommend sitting on the back patio, since it is more quiet than the main dining room.
Service was good. Got a table right away, though it was very busy, and they told us that we needed a reservation. Heated patio was very nice. Cauliflower cakes were not as good as we were hoping, no flavor, but the butternut squash was wonderful.

We had a reservation for 7:30, arrived 10 minutes early and we were seated immediately. Piatti"s has a modern look with a view of the open kitchen. The tables are on a rough... More
This is a really fun place. I wish I lived closer so I could try more things on the menu. My friend had the lemon sauce pasta and I had the roasted chicken. It was very good, though the spinach was oily and I found it all kind of rich. That's mostly because I had been eating very clean for... More
This friendly Italian restaurant had top notch service. We had a six year old with us and our server knew to bring her food first. The butter lettuce salad was delicious as were the margarita pizza and butternut squash ravioli. I'd come back just for the bread which they graciously gave me some butter.
our waiter at Cody's restaurant in LaJolla recommended this Italian rest. for dinner and we were glad we went. We had a great experience as my husband and I love Italian food and it was well worth it.
