We stopped here for a quick lunch. It took forever to order. They were out of most items and the chili was awful. Even though this is right across the street from a cool family attraction, do not be tempted to go there.

Service was very slow. Food was low quality for the price. I ordered chicken sandwich; chicken covered about 1/2 the bun "where's the chicken". Guacamole, lettuce and tomato were skimpy and tasteless. A glass of milk or a soft drink was $2.49.
Where to start with our awful experience in Forest cafe. The service was abysmal, they took 20 mins to take drinks order, then another 20 for food. We were then told some items ordered had run out so two of us had to order again....More
We were seat in about 5 minutes after we arrived, we were given menus then we waited for 45 minutes to have our orders taken. A group of 10 came in at 35 minutes into our wait and they were seated and orders taken immediately....More
good location, good food, below-average service. waitress got one of our orders wrong and didn't offer to bring the correct order or adjust the bill, she simply said "my fault".
