There really is not a lot in King City, CA. On one list this is #3, which says a lot. I wanted a "restaurant" that had a bar so I could have a margarita, but no. This place does have bottled beer. But otherwise it is 'just tables' in a small-ish place in a shopping center. However, it seems to... More

To start off with the salsa ranks up there with the best I've had. The service was fabulous and the entrées did not disappoint. Trip advisor certainly steered us the right way on this one, and it is right off of 101.

Leaving California so decided it would be the last good Mexican chow for a while so swung off for lunch and stumbled onto El Taco Bravo, an order at the counter kind of place, but very clean (bathroom included). I seldom see that great Mexican pork and hominy stew but they had it as a special and I ordered. Excellent,... More

We were traveling to AZ. Trip advisor did NOT steer us wrong. This place is great! It is worth making a stop in King City. Thanks again to Trip Advisor for sending us in the right direction.

I came in right before closing on Saturday night and the food was served quickly. The carnitas were cooked nicely and not greasy. The chips and salsa were tasty and the service was friendly and efficient. They are just off the 101 about two blocks north on Canal in the beginning of a shopping area. I would stop there again... Good food and good service. I recommend you eat here if you prefer authentic food over a fast good restaurant. We will be back the next time we are passing through.

We found El Taco Bravo on Tripadvisor and gave it a try. Delicious! The restaurant is very small and there's not a lot of ambiance but it is clean and light. It's situated in a small strip mall and is easy to find. All the food was fresh and good. We tried a chimichanga, the barbequed pork and the chile... More

Taco Bravo provides a broad spectrum of menu choices at market prices. Location was easily accessible, large windows on the street provided good visibility, and the service was speedy and responsive. The food was typical Spanish with a broad selection, cooked well, and served hot. A good buy for Spanish food!

On a road trip from Olympia, Wa to Santa Barbara and back. We stopped in about 1:00 pm Monday. Only 2 other families in the place so were able to order immediately. Had to have a bathroom break first and while the bathrooms were clean there was no soap. Told waitress but it took another customer to also let her... More

My friend and I took a break on our way from LA to San Fran, we were pleasantly surprised to find this small restaurant with great food. We had fajitas and the stuffed peppers, both authentic and very good. This family owned restaurant is nicely decorated and is very clean. It was a pleasant experience and over all a much... More
