We had been in Sihanoukville by one day and stood in Reef resort hotel, went to Nyam, because my sister has read about it good reviews. There are different Khmer dishes, quite good, simple design, has some tables outside near the road. Shakes were nice, but in small glasses and have many ice, and dishes very tasty, mango and cashew... More

Perfect local restaurant - away from the party strip. Food was delicious and full of flavours. 4 large platters was plenty to share for 2 people. Our favourite was the pancakes and tomatoes filled with pork. Only feedback would be that the tempura prawns didn't have a tempura batter - they were really fatty and greasy. Staff were very friendly.

I discovered that good restaurants are hard to come by in Shianoukville. Especially if you're after Khmer food. After walking for about half an hour past pizza and burger places (there are about 100 of them) we finally resorted to Google and Tripadvisor to find this place. The service was great and the restaurant was full after 10 minutes of... More

Tripadvisor reviews were really good so I tried it out for dinner. Was very average unfortunately. Had fried chicken spring rolls.. nice and crispy but the inside was just a mush a minced chicken.. no vegetables at all! Couldnt finish them. And had the mango chicken..which was flavourless and boring. Maybe the chef was having a bad day..

Been here last year and was happy to go back again. Food was still very good, service just okay but that was maybe because they had a lot of guests.

Some of the finest khmer food we've had in Cambodia. Fresh and tasty; ginger chicken is so good! Great, fast and friendly service. Very decent prices. Would return, no questions asked!

I had visited this restaurant a few years ago and of course the ownership had changed. First night had large plate of king prawns and tasted superb with fresh taste of sea and nice dipping sauces. Next night ordered fish fillet with vegetables and thought I had been delivered wrong meal when it appeared I had been delivered a sweet... More

Dinner was fantastic! Chicken mango & cashew, chicken Khmer curry and tempura prawns. All dishes were delicious and at a very affordable price. Service efficient and staff polite & friendly. Very glad we went and would definitely recommend that you stop in for a meal.

We went to this place based on other reviews and it was as described - good simple Khmer food, well priced and good serving sizes which allow you to try a bit of everything. Recommend the eggplant with pork, tom yum soup, chicken mango with cashew stir fry and fish amok. Worth the visit.

Located on Tola street opposite the Golden Island Casino, Nyam welcomes you to an authentic Khmer dining experience in an environment that is more accessible to tourists. When Cambodians eat it is far more social and similar to Spanish Tapas in the sense that a number of dishes are ordered and placed in the center of the table for everyone to share and enjoy. All dishes are cooked fresh to order and served with rice.
