We dined there twice during our visit to Jamestown. We found the restaurant clean and staff very friendly. The food was exceptional. We requested gluten free (corn tortillas) with salsa and they were happy to accommodate. The restaurant is next door to a fun antique store where we found delightful people and merchandise.

My husband and I live in Jamestown and we visit Morelia regularly for two reasons - great home style Mexican food and friendly service from people who care about their customers! It's also nice to dine in an area that is a part of Gold Mining Era history - across the street from historic Jamestown hotel. Take a stroll down... More

The second you walk into this relatively small place you are greatly warmly by the staff and I assume the owner. The decor is spot on - casual and very comfortable, Mexican in flavor but in no way forced or cheesy. The chips are way way above average, warm floor ones mixed with corn ones. And great salsa to dip... More

I had the chicken flauta with rice and beans and it was fantastic. The other meal ordered was a taco, rice and beans and I was told that it was excellent too. Their iced tea was some of the best that we've ever had. If you get a chance to go there, I would very much recommend it.

We stopped by for a late lunch after a few hours panning for gold. A cute Victorian house converted into a restaurant, our dog got to sleep on the porch for once, while we filled our hungry bellies. For a mountain town, the food here is well made although a bit bland, catering to a wider palette. We had the... More

A great little gem if you like authentic Mexican food. Not the imitation stuff. This is the real deal. And the prices are cheap. You don't often find Mexican food this good so far north of the border.

Great food, big portions. Nice stuff and quick service. Not too touristy, also natives were eating there. Service was absolutely fine, seems to be a family earned restaurant, atmosphere was super. A very nice place to have good for good prices!
