This restaurant has been around for 45 years (opened in 1971) and is still the place to go for great prime rib. It is a themed restaurant while a darker, old school, classic charm. They have more than prime rib but that is the flag ship. Not inexpensive but exceptional. Great for business meetings, group of friends, not child friendly.

My second time bringing the family here. I love it. Prime Rib, Long Island Duck, everything is good. Nice comfortable home like environment.

My husband bought a groupon offer and we were so disappointed . The hostess was not friendly , the restaurant was empty , old, and looks like ready to close. I ordered the prime rib it was cold , tough could not cut , the creamed corn was cold and served on to my user bread plate . I returned... More

A friend recommended the place and so we went. Pricey, but worth it. The escargot was good, not great, but the prime rib was stellar. Service was top notch as well. 100% worth the trip and you will like it.

I was in Irvine on business and was in "no man's land" at the rush hour to get back to L.A., so I figured I would eat at a place I hadn't eaten at in a decade, but always wanted to come back to- Gulliver's. Normally, I ate in the main restaurant, but this time, I ate at the bar... More

I consider three principal things when reviewing a restaurant: the environment, including ambiance, seating, lighting, table presentation and the like; the food, including selection, presentation, taste, and price; and the staff, including servers, management, and chefs (if visible). We had not been to Gulliver’s for many years and decided to go because of a Groupon discount and to celebrate a... More

Gullivers is a nice place to go to for special occasions. It looks like an English tavern complete with telephone boxes. They are known for their prime rib, which is excellent and comes with creamed corn, creamed spinach and Yorkshire pudding. The inside is covered with pictures referring to the book Gullivers Travels. It was a nice evening.

We were happy to get seated right away and not have to wait an hour for a table. I was turned down at Five Crowns so I decided to come here. We sat in a corner table. Waitress was very friendly. Service was fast. My son didn't have to ask about when or how long dinner was coming. My husband... More

Inside looks like a British pub. Servers dress in sort of period style clothing. The prime rib is delicious and offered in 3 different cuts. They also have a delicious, yet super rich, cream corn side dish. They also have a kids menu but you need to ask for it.

We hadn't been here in almost 30 years. Not sure why we stopped going but it was like time had stood still. Nothing changed. Located across from John Wayne airport and Because of the popular Happy Hour, and sharing the same parking lot as El Torito restaurant, finding a space is difficult. We placed our drink order which took 15-20... More
