Travelers are delighted with the entire Casa de Fruita development, the wine shop, fruit and vegetable market, and especially the delicious comfort food served in the restaurant. Prices are reasonable and the service has always been very friendly and responsive.

In all the years I've stopped here, I can't recall eating lunch here. What a treat I've missed! We split lasagne and onion rings, with a side salad and it was tasty and generous. Great friendly service too!

The meals were nothing special but average restaurant food. I had a cup of chicken noodle soup which was salty and kind of slimy. My husband's Chinese chicken salad was edible, but nothing special. Since we were stayng in the RV Park, it was the closest place around.

We eat here whenever we are in the area. The food is excellent and the portions are large. Staff is friendly and attentive. Their Bacado Burger is wonderful--with fries or with potato salad as I had. Rib eye steak with baked potato was done rare to perfection. Never room for dessert, but the look absolutely delicious. Go, you won't be... More

My girlfriend and I went on the pirate weekend. It had a fun extra twist of lots of pirates walking around. Fun games for the young and older, from crossbows, to lances, to archery, and so on. Fun stages with clever acts going on through out the event. The atmosphere was fun and playful. The acts were silly and entertaining.... More

We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant this afternoon and were very impressed by the quality of the food. I had a simple breakfast of eggs over medium, hash browns and sourdough toast. Everything was done superbly...a simple breakfast, but one of the best of its kind I can remember. My wife had a veggie omelette that was exceptional as... More

Heading to the Monterrey peninsula along Hwy 152 in the evening, this is a convenient stop for dinner. Easy off and on. Diner style. We had the kobe beef burgers, and they were very good, but a bit over done--we ordered medium, but they were well done. Service was good.

I had not been here in 20+ years and my oh my, it's changed. Great place to visit, walk around and try their wines. The restaurant was always packed but we checked out the deli and found the prices to be reasonable and the portions huge. The service was excellent and every employee we came across was extremely helpful.
