My wife and I stopped on the way out of Santa Rosa. We had the quiche and a pastry. The quiche were very flavorful and the Donut muffin was one of the better breakfast sweets I've had. The staff was friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable.

I visit this bakery every time I am in Healdsburg. Every morning the locals gather to enjoy fresh baked pastries and fresh brewed coffee. Weekends often there is a line out the door but service is quick and the staff efficient and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Sandwiches available for take out. Consistently good. Discount at the end of the day... More

Been going to this place for 10 yrs or so on our annual visits to the wine country. Absolutely to die for pastries - buttery croissants, sticky buns, savory English pasties. Limited breakfast & lunch items...but quality items. E.g. poached eggs on polenta, blackberry pancakes, Sandwiches, quiches etc. good coffee + espressos. Sometimes a bit crowded.

My husband and I enjoyed some great sweet treats here. I highly recommend the chocolate cream pie, fruit galette, and lemon curd tart. The pastry is so flaky and crisp and the fillings are very fresh. The coffee was also very good. We'll be back!

An average bakery. Not too many choices. I tried a few cookies and cannot say I was impressed. Perhaps something else they sell is better? A few places to sit but not much atmosphere. Can't say I feel any need to go back.

If you are planning a visit to Downtown Bakery & Creamery, be aware that the only sign for the business is a small sign on their front window, so it is very difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area. This bakery was recommended in a tour book that we purchased for our visit to wine country,... More

The baked items are solid, nothing special (try Costeaux for something a bit more pricey but superior). What got me was the poor & disorganized service, and charging for hot water - even if you bring your own cup! Loud, total lack of ambiance. Won't go back.

The lines can be off putting but don't let that stop you. Delicious bakery items inside! Not much outdoor seating available so walk across the street to the park.

If you stop off here, definitely try some of their homemade ice cream. The Meyer lemon sherbet is absolutely delicious, as long as you're willing to try something tangy. Their pastries are also wonderful; all in all, we would highly recommend this place.

We stopped in for breakfast. Had tea, carrot cake muffin and sour cherry gallette. Everything was fresh and delicious! Even the orange jasmine tea was good. We will definitely be back again.
