What a GEM! This little place hidden off the side of 120 is well worth the stop. Great breakfast options, friendly staff, easy parking, reasonably priced and delicious food. What else could you ask for this far from civilization. The brisket breakfast burrito was so...killer (I wish I had added jalapenos) but super tasty and their vegan options made my daughter happy as well. Strongly recommend!More

Cute little mom/pop restaurant outside of town. We had breakfast and The food was very good. Did not try any of the bakery items but they looked great. My only complaint was that there were no real bathrooms. They only have outhouses available.

Tangled Hearts is an American gem! We stopped here on our day trip into Yosemite last month, and what a find it was! You always start with hospitality, and the proprietor, Amy, is service with a smile. Even her little daughter greets you and chats...with you. Walk up order and options to sit inside or out amongst nature. The quality of the food is first rate, and the portions are generous to say the least! Being environmentally conscious I like the fact that their to-go containers are paper! Tangled Hearts is a no-brainer place to enjoy a wonderful breakfast, only to be matched with the pride of ownership the Amy excudes.More

This is a rustic cafe which serves the most delicious breakfast and pastry items . You can sit outside amongst the trees and fresh air or inside. You walk up to the counter to order from Amy, who is just a ray of sunshine ,...then, they bring your food to your table . Order a full breakfast or a pastry to go .. The biscuits and gravy sliders are amazing . I’ve never had better . Everything comes out warm and cooked perfectly. Great place to fill up on your way into Yosemite. This is where you’ll find the locals .More

Wanting to try something different than the lodge restaurant, I stopped in for breakfast at this rustic eatery, just outside Yosemite NP off Hwy 120 between Buck Meadows and Groveland. Diners were enjoying a mild morning on the outdoor patio (overlooking the highway and hillsides...across it), and I was anxious to join them. Ordered up the spinach burrito which was satisfying if a bit on the underseasoned side. A lot of character and rustic charm for about $10-$15. Would eat here over any chain or roadside grease pit an day of the week.More

Enjoyed our breakfast on the way to Yosemite via Groveland. The cafe was a bit cold, but the warmth of the staff made up for it. The only downer is that there is no bathroom, save for a portapotty outside. We were surprised....

Stopped here yesterday for coffee and pastries on way up to Yosemite from the Bay Area. Very good Peet’s coffee and great choice of pastries at a good price. Also, very friendly staff. We did not try the various breakfast menu items, but what we...saw being delivered to tables looked delicious and very large helpings. Will go back for sure!!More

A real good breakfast can be hard to find in these here parts. Yes, indeed. We've been staying a few times a year for more than 20 years in nearby Groveland's Pine Mountain Lake area and this is forks down the best breakfast joint in...the area - EVER - about 15 mins from PML. The wood house with wood porch ambiance promotes a laid back vibe, but not to worry because the staff takes its job seriously. Orders are taken, plates delivered and checks-ins done with a smile and in timely fashion. Peet's coffee is free flowing. We arrived about 8am and there was no one in line. By the time we chose a porch table and sat down, a group of about 8 hikers rolled in. This place is pro at going with the ebb and flow of its guests; they are quick, efficient, nicely professional and serious about the food they make and serve. My order: Sweet & Savory Brisket Potatoes - Eggs, sweet-sauced brisket w/ sauteed onion (these words caught my eye in a delicious way), Bell Pepper & Potatoes garnished with cabbage, topped with Pepper Jack, & green onions, choice of toast. It was mouthwateringly special - the brisket was sweet, soft and moist, the cabbage added crunch, etc. And when I scooped up my two eggs, over easy, placed them on top of the brisket goodness and dove into the eggs so the yokes spilled into what was underneath it was the mother lode. The fact they hat black Yosemite caps was special. Just sayin'.More

The Bakery is owned by a young couple -Bubba and Amelia. My late husband and I used to go there at least once a week - sometimes more. It will reopen June 5 and I will be there. They are open during the summer months...- usually June through October or November. They are a delight to know and the food is outstanding - especially the breakfast burritos. My late husband had the burrito AND a small order of biscuits and gravy. He always had to take half of the burrito home.More
