Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at Rush Creek, the sister lodge to EVergreen and decided to try dinner here. Had a reservation so our choice of tables, and chose outside on a lovely evening before sunset. Very quaint and with a good ambience. Our server was top notch,...attentive, but not overbearing. We had the shrimp skewers for appetizer which had an excellent chimichurri on them. We also had the rainbow trout and steak both of which were excellent meals. A nice find out at Yosemite.More

We stopped here for dinner on our way out of the park. We had tried to book rooms here and couldn’t do thought we’d try the food as we were staying in groveland. We are in the bar as the restaurant wa a booked for...30 mins. What a lovely place. Friendly with a menu that offered all the familiar options with a great range of tailoring options. Other items on the menu were more adventurous but looked really flavoursome. The wine list was fantastic compared to others in the area and my Chardonnay was sublime and local. Would definitely hit this place for dinner or lunch if you can. The drive to it off route 120 is beautiful at sunset and just adds a cherry on top of a perfect stop.More

The bison burger is top notch and the smoked butter chicken was delicious but you can't miss the barbecue!

We had breakfast here before we left towards Sequoia. One avocado toast and some french toast. Both was really delicious and nicely presented. Big portions so we defenitely had enough after one plate.

The hushpuppies were divine. Elegant presentation of the meal at a lodge but thought you were at a big city restaurant!

We stayed at the sister lodge Rush Creek during our two nights at Yosemite. They recommended we stop by here for breakfast on the way to Hetch Hetchy and I'm so glad we did. We had a great breakfast at the restaurant and explored the...area a little before driving to the dam. Great food and service. We definitely want to stay here next time we come to Yosemite as it was quiet and off the beaten path. The grounds were absolutely beautiful! The drive from the main road wasn't nearly as bad as many of the mountain roads we took on this trip, there was almost no traffic and it was absolutely beautiful. Great spot!More

We found this little gem by complete accident. We had spent the day at Hetch Hetchy and were driving back to Yosemite Valley and thought to stop for a drink. The bar area is great and quirky with so much character. The staff were really...friendly so a quick drink turned into an early dinner. Food and service were both really good and some great menu options which were not the usual fare. It was a great find !More

Stick to the burgers and the carrot-ginger soup. I had the pork cassoulet and my husband had the short ribs. He felt his meal was overpriced and my pork chop was overcooked. The black-eyed peas were too spicy for me and the collard greens were...really garlic-y. The carrot-ginger soup was amazing!More

This is a very rustic restaurant a little off the beaten path. We shared the beet salad, and we tried the chicken and dumplings (not what you think if you are from the south) and the strip steak, which was excellent. The drinks were strong...and very good. We took the lemon cake away and it was just ok. This was probably one of the better dinners we had while staying in the area.More

Beautiful lodge with indoor and outdoor dining. We suggest French toast for breakfast and the hanger steak for dinner. The staff is friendly and efficient. Our cocktails were delicious and well prepared as well.

We were more than disappointed at our experience at the Evergreen Restaurant and would not return. We were there for dinner. The food was bland (this is being generous), the service was incredibly slow, food was brought out in the wrong order, there was no...wait staff available to ask for even a water refill, and the extra plate we requested was dirty. At the same time, restaurant pricing would be commensurate with a much higher quality facility.More
