Diego's is 100% eclectic, warm and friendly. Based on info on TA, my wife and decided to try it. Lunch on Saturday wasn't crowded -service was good. She had special cream of mushroom soup and a lunch salad with grilled veggies on the side. The soup was awesome. So were the veggies. I had the Salcedo - pulled pork sand... More

We were in the Grass Valley area for the weekend, and were intrigued by the menu. On a Friday night the 4 of us arrived and were seated within a few minutes, the place was busy. But right from the beginning the servers were appearing confused, and it continued through our dinner, even getting our bill was causing confusion among... More

My stuffed portobello mushroom was delish and healthy. My husband wasn't impressed by his wrap. However, we adored the dessert Tres Lecche. That was so delicious and fresh

This is NOT a Spanish restaurant. The food is unique. Not really to my liking only because I don't care for spicy food. I am looking forward to going back though and trying all the yummy desserts. Staff is very friendly, atmosphere is fun.

Really good food with a South American flavor and dishes you may not have experienced. Tasty meals prepared in an authentic way with fresh, mostly organic ingredients. Wide range of food so you can come back often for different dishes. Very nice atmosphere including outdoor seating close to downtown.

Came here with my husband and 6 month old baby. We loved the food, the atmosphere, and the service. I liked that they use fresh, local ingredients. It's a family place so we felt comfortable bringing our baby and it was fine. Even the other patrons were nice to us. It's our new favorite spot!

I moved from Grass Valley just about when they were opening and whenever I visit now I always rush to eat in this eclectic and friendly restaurant! My husband and I were visiting some time ago and ate there so often the staff started teasing us that we were probably spending the nights there! The staff is so friendly and... More

Not out of the way, on a quiet business area. Small place, eclectic decor, colorful and friendly staff. Unpretestious. Latin American theme menu, excellent sauces. Not the run-of-the-mill or standard fare. Fish, meats, vegetables. A lot of vegetables and nicely done. Favorite default place to go. Comfortable. Inside and outside dining. Small wine list.

From the minute the server let us choose the sweet corner booth far from the noisy gaggle that came in behind us, we were happy campers here! This is a sweet, eclectic place with varied, tasty, and well-prepared menu options. The server was super cool and personable while patiently waiting for us to choose from all the amazing looking dishes... More

Both times I dinned at Diegos, I enjoyed the food. The service is warm and friendly. A good place to eat if you want something different than usual, food with a South American touch. Portions are large, and the desserts are made in house.
