We had a delicious Saturday lunch & arrived early (11:15a.m) to get a table for 6. It's a fun place to people watch & see a huge variety of fresh fish. You order at the counter & your food is delivered to your table. The service was quick, our fish & chips were hot and delicious. The clam chowder was... More

I stop here weekly if possible. The selection is amazing. The sushi grade fish is outstanding. I have also tried the teriyaki skewers which are very good. There is a nice selection of poke and the ceviche is really good.

Disguised as a fish market, Fish King has the best crunch fish in the world. The fresh fish there is the best in LA! Try the foods in the Galley Deli, great place for lunch.

Always a list of daily specials posted. Today one of them was North Shore Garlic Shrimp served with rice, macaroni salad & crunch yams. It was DELICIOUS & a very generous portion. I enjoyed every bite with a little help from my Oahu born husband who had the rock cod special. One of our favorite casual places to eat.

Amazing location, parking is decent, space on the inside is just as good. One of the best tuna poke in the city. Grilled snapper is my favorite, replaced the rice with veggies. Friendly staff! I will definitely return!

I never knew it was here and it has been since 1946. Largest selection of fresh fish in their market that I have ever seen. You can pick out your fresh fish, oysters, clams, and the will cook it for you. The galley is a small eating area and you can order a wide selection of grilled and fried fish.

I love the freshness of the fish. Prices unfortunately have increased substantially since their remodel. I wish the galley had more nonfried and noncarb options. Lunch platters are primarily served two ways -- teriyaki or lemon butter, and served with fries or rice. Pineapple slaw is nice (small portion), the sliced orange is nice. Draws a crowd, particularly on Fridays... More

This was their Hawaiian week so for the first time we had a special that wasn't from the sea. Huli Huli chicken & Kalbi beef short ribs served with Mac salad & crunch yams. As good as it was I'm sure I'll be glad to have one of their fish plates next time. Galley was busy as usual. Obviously lots... More

This place is amazing. Tried the grilled Orange Roughy in lemon and butter...outstanding. So tender and delicious. My wife enjoyed her grilled talapia just as much. The galley is cozy and clean. Friendly service and great prices. The fish counter is unlike most others. Not smelly, with an appealing array of fish. Prices seen on the high side, but the... More
